Jib and Teresa Davidson purchased this House in 2003
Why Jib and Teresa Davidson chose Placida
Teresa has been coming to Little Gasparilla Island since she was 14 years old. Her parents bought their house, which is right next to Gasparilla Villa in 1968.
What makes this House unique
Little Gasparilla Island is a part of Florida most folks do not to experience. If you like shopping malls and restaurants and lots of tourist activities, this is not the place for you. If you like to fish, enjoy swimming, shelling and sun bathing with little to no folks on the beach, then this is the place for you. We look forward to hosting you and your family.

Amazing location. Locals are very frielndly. Definitely going back..
We had a great time. The house was perfect & we loved having use of the kayaks, beach chairs & other toys.
So much fun!
We loved our stay at Gasparilla Villa. There was plenty of room for our group of 6. The location at the north of the island was ideal. Being on the bay side was perfect for the avid fisherman in our group who sat for hours on the dock. We also spent hours kayaking and paddle boarding in the bay and watching manatees and dolphins. The beach was a 2 minute walk away. We rented a golf cart for the week, however, I think you could manage without one unless you have someone with limited mobility. We ordered our groceries online and had them delivered to the island which made getting there super easy!
My family and I had a great stay. We are originally from Florida so our beach standards are pretty high. Well the villa blew those out of the water. It had everything we could possibly need, we loved the fact the kitchen was fully equipped. All we had to do was a short grocery store trip on the way in, and it was great not having to worry about going out to restaurants. Every pot and pan, or seasoning you need is already provided. Jennifer made check in so convenient. The place was immaculately clean, and we loved the surplus of towels available. Beach towels and bathroom towels. Next point, everything you need for the beach is there, floats, chairs, wagons, coolers. It was perfect. Watch the sunrise from the porch, and the sunset at the beach a few steps away.
Great spot beautiful beach. Very comfortable beds and really cold air.
Lovely island getaway
Great experience, well worth the travel effort!
