The location on the river is simply lovely to look at & watch it change with the weather. The geese and ducks were a great surprise. Host was most responsive and helpful
Great little gem of a place for a lovely weekend on the water. Thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness of the location. The patio was great for morning coffee. The rooms were nice as well. I would definitely stay here again.
The house was very warm and inviting when we entered. Everything was clean and comfortable. Great communication from our host letting me know all the details that mad the booking so easy
An amazing river front getaway! Spacious and very clean! Firewood avaliable just down the road and everything you could ask for in a waterfront vacation home! Andres the owner was prompt and very helpful!
Not my best VRBO experience. Please be aware: *There is a substantial drop-off when entering the driveway that you can't see until you're scraping the bottom of your car. I recommend entering from the north end.*The flooring slopes downward. Use caution if you have balance or ambulation deficits. The curled edges of the area rug also present a tripping hazard.*There is no closet in the main bedroom or hooks to hang clothing on. There is one very small closet in the other bedroom. No hangers and is difficult to access.*The inside was clean, but the surrounding area of the home was trashed. I was embarrassed to take my guest there. The view of the river was nice, but I felt that this rental is was overpriced for the accommodations.
We had a nice stay at the house on the river. Very clean on the inside. The one drawback for me was not being able to use the kayaks there. I didn’t feel safe with the dam being so close to the cottage. I did end up renting a kayak with a nearby company.

Thank you for your review! We understand that the nearby dam might raise questions, but it’s located far enough from the house that it doesn’t impact the peaceful atmosphere of your stay. For guests who choose to explore closer to it, there’s a clear and accessible path that allows you to easily go around it.
Additionally, the kayak rental company you used provides helpful instructions to all paddlers on how to safely navigate around the dam if they approach it.
For those looking to extend their adventure, guests can also paddle north along the river, where the journey can last an hour or even longer depending on your pace. It’s a beautiful stretch with plenty of nature to enjoy.
We’re always happy to help guests make the most of their time here, and we appreciate you sharing your experience!
We rented this for our graduates. They love the water and love to fish. They said that the neighbor has a pontoon at the house pier and that the space of the property waterfront was limited. Between the tree and pontoon and neighbor constantly on the pontoon they had to go other places to enjoy the water
