About this property

The Mount Pleasant House: Slopeside 6-bedroom Farmhouse in Edinboro

This home, constructed in the early 1900’s, was the original farmhouse to this farm property. When the ski area opened in 1970, the dairy barn was converted to the existing lodge and the house was sold. The farmhouse was purchased by Mount Pleasant in 2023.

The Mount Pleasant House has 6 bedrooms. Between the six bedrooms, the House comfortably sleeps 10 people. All bedrooms are located upstairs.

Three bedrooms have Queen beds and two have twins. One has a trundle bed, sleeping two.

There are several sofa beds as well. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.

The House is large and comfortable, with several living/eating areas that make staying with a large group fun and not too crowded.

Great Location would be even better in the winter.

The house was beautiful and very clean. You can tell the owners take great care of it. It had everything we needed during our stay-linens, dishes, laundry etc and the beds were very comfortable. We rented during the fall so we did not have an opportunity to use the ski slopes. The house sits right at the bottom of the ski lift. There was plenty of parking.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The home was elegant but cozy. The house was very well supplied with needed kitchen items, games, books and cozy blankets. The beds were very comfortable! Every room had a little touch of decoration for the holiday. Truly appreciated the thoughtfulness of the host!

Beautiful spacious house in the quiet countryside that we rented for the weekend of my nieces wedding. Lots of sleeping areas for everyone, beds were comfy and linens as well. Nice areas for us to sit and relax on our own or congregate to hang out with each other. Would definitely book again.

We had such a great stay here. The house was absolutely beautiful and incredibly clean, which is something I always notice and appreciate. There was plenty of room for everyone, with lots of bedrooms and space to spread out without feeling crowded.The country setting was peaceful and relaxing, and it made for a perfect getaway. The house does not have central air, but that honestly didn’t take away from our experience. Everything else about the property more than made up for it.You can tell the owners really care about this place. It felt welcoming, comfortable, and well cared for. We made some wonderful memories here and would definitely stay again.
