Clean and cute. No lake access without driving to it. Within driving distance to marble falls and inks lake as well as the caverns.

Casita

Overall a great place. The owner was very nice and the place was clean, the listing showed a lot of space around the Casita, but that was not the case. So, if you are bringing you watercraft or pulling a trailer, keep in mind it is very tight area with lots of stuff around.

There was a strong pungent smell as you turn on water from sink and shower. I decided to leave the morning of the 2nd of three days rented as the smell became unbearable. When I questioned about refund, Grand Welcome claimed there was no smell during their inspection of the place. I wouldn't trust it.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience. The odor described can occasionally occur in this area due to naturally high limestone content in the water. This is not harmful and is typically temporary. In order to properly address any concerns during a stay, we do ask that guests notify us while on site so our team has the opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue. As this was not reported until after departure, we were not able to take those steps during your stay. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will continue monitoring to ensure the best possible experience for future guests.
