Lovely Mink Lake Cottage With Sandy Beach Shoreline

Lovely family cottage, 3 bedroom, open concept living and dining room, with airtight wood fireplace and full view facing lake. A large and beautiful harvest table is perfect for dining and playing games. The sunny southern exposure cottage has a wrap-around deck, perfect for relaxing, communing with nature and viewing the exquisite sunsets. The bedrooms are on the main floor with a queen bed in one bedroom, a single bunk bed and another single bed in the 2nd bedroom. The third bedroom has a single bed. The kitchen comes complete with everything you need: stove, fridge, microwave, dishes etc. The living room is a good size and comes complete with large TV, DVD, VCR and lots of movies for a rainy day. There is beautiful gazebo on the front deck to provide shade on those sunny days. Cellphone service but no internet.
The sandy beach is walk in, and there is a kayak, a canoe and a floating raft for your enjoyment. You can barbecue on the deck or toast your marshmallows in the fire pit on the beach. Mink Lake is a clean 5 mile lake surrounded by crown land - great for swimming, boating and fishing. There is a boat launch nearby. Algonquin Provincial Park, famous for it's many lakes and hiking trails, is a short 20 minute drive. The town of Bancroft, mineral capital of Ontario, is a 25 minute drive. Lake St Peter, 10 minutes away, has a small grocery store

This place was so cozy clean i love the property and the privacy sandbeach my grandson was so upset the week was over he had so much fun on the floating mate playing in the sand fishing and swimming you could not ask for more be back again next year

We thoroughly enjoyed your piece of paradise. The combination of the serenity and the beauty of the lake plus perfect weather made for a wonderful relaxing week. The toughest decision we faced each day was to have coffee on the deck, on the Muskoka chairs or at the beach! We would return in a heart beat! Wonderful get-away.

Since the first time we contacted the owner of the property to the last minute we spent at the cottage, everything was as great as one can wish. Cottage was inviting, well equipped, well maintained and in the great location. Furthermore, we loved being able to use owner's kayak (thank you!) and get to relax at the bonfire. Lots of places to hike in the nature nearby or short drive away. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday. We would definitely be back. Alex and Susan V.

Lake St. Peter cottage

The cottage was amazing! Wendy was very accessible, and the week was lovely. We caught fish, sunned on the small beach, enjoyed the deck, and it felt fairly private. Love that the cottage was out of the way! Water toys were fun (kayak and canoe) and it was really nice to unplug from the internet for the week. All in all I would highly recommend this property and the owner! Thanks for allowing us to share and enjoy a great vacation week!!

Absolutely perfect family vacation!

We had a wonderful family vacation at Wendy’s! The cottage is very comfortable and well appointed. The sandy beach is perfect for kids and the lake is pristine. The region is gorgeous and the cottage is close to plenty of great family activities.

It was a very great to stay. Very peaceful, just what we needed. We felt we were part of someones family with all the pictures, books childrens height marked on the door frame, very charming Was very clean, the bugs were pretty bad, but no one can help that.
