Worst thing for privacy and security, the caretaker went in our property when we were outside via their master key without any notice. And the host has to say it's nothing.My partner notice the things not in place.And the host was so concerned about his electricity bills which was very irritating.The location was nice but the pathway was dirty, trash was roaming around outside the property. Not worth it.

We apologize for the caretaker entering the villa without prior notice; after reviewing CCTV, we confirmed it was only to replenish water bottles for your convenience, while you were out. We have reminded our staff to communicate better in the future. Regarding electricity use, we kindly inform guests about conserving energy through house rules. When we saw the outdoor halogen lamp on during the day, we felt it necessary to mention it politely. Though smoking in the bedroom is against our house rules, we did not claim any damages. We also appreciate you noticing our deep cleaning team arrived at checkout and thoroughly cleaned the villa. Your comments on the pathway cleanliness are noted, and we are working to improve this. We hope you enjoyed the lakeside location despite these concerns.

Mid summer days in LakeBreeze

I absolutely loved the stay. The location is stunning, the property is right in front of the backwaters, the verandah is spacious and one can sit and just spent the evening staring at the backwaters. We enjoyed sitting in the verandah in the evening and had a lovely time. The caretaker and her son were very sweet. She made sure every corner of the stay was very clean. It would be nice if some games like Uno or carrom or other card/board games are kept since the top floor is spacious and can be utilised for playing games. There's also a workstation set up and the WiFi is pretty good. The view from balcony is again lovely.Since there are good number of restaurants few kilometres away from the stay, it was not really difficult for us to order food through swiggy and Zomato. The host was extremely quick in responding to the queries. That's something I would want to appreciate Thank you so much for the lovely stay we had really good time!

After hearing numerous negative feedbacks from Kerala-returned tourists about issues they faced, I decided to address these concerns and offer a genuine hosting experience.

To make this happen, I teamed up with my mother, a pet lover, and together we founded Ashtamudi Escapes LLP, under which we offer Lakebreeze Stays. We are duly assisted by our property manager Arun who is a nature lover & a passionate photographer as well.
