The description leaves out some details others might want…. First the house is dated however it was very clean which we did appreciate. This house does not have air and was disclosed to us by the property manager. We decided to go anyway Lake Huron breeze right on the water, open the windows it would be comfortable. Here is were it gets interesting, we arrived at 4pm on Friday and it was a hot day, the host said they went and turned on the house fans, which they did but didn’t crack the first window house was 83 degrees. We immediately started opening windows, some opened some didn’t. Then we went up to the loft, which buy the way is the king size bed and totally open to the downstairs 0 privacy it’s a loft with a bed not a bedroom. And it turns out those windows cannot be opened because they have been covered with sound deadening glass. And if you’re wondering why it needed the glass in this idyllic place that’s because State Route 23 is maybe 100 feet from that window which is a very busy, and loud road. Then there are the beds, I like a firm mattress but wow these were like concrete. We went to dinner in Tawas at Jack’ss(great place downtown good food reasonable) came back and due to non opening windows it was still 82 degrees so we packed up and went home. We had a 3 day rental I did ask for 2 days to be refunded, they only refunded the cleaning fee.
