Clean and Quiet

This home was very clean. Conveniently located and relatively quiet, especially for the area. Ample parking. The ambiance/lighting behind each tv in every room was a lovely touch. Smart locks and smart thermostat a nice bonus/felt modern. Easy to find extra towels. Loved the Michigan touch w the soda and snacks. The only downside was the plumbing in the bathroom (water a little slow to drain), which did not takeaway from the overall positive experience!

Host did not provide key code for 5 hours past check-in time. Host provided incorrect address to property and has incorrect address on Vrbo site. Above complications left us with no access first night of stay - no place to sleep. Weeds were below knee height on arrival and grass wasn’t mowed for an additional 7 days (in July). Only Plastic dishware available in kitchen. It felt kind of greasy and when I pulled out a 2nd bowl from cupboard to use, it was covered in grease and completely unwashed. Pictures also included of the tub and bathroom sink cleanliness upon arrival. Host agreed to compensate us for first night we were unable to access unit, but after multiple contacts and 2 weeks to process same, I have not been compensated. Spacious yard, but no seating available.
