Welcome to The Happy House!! Once you come in you won't want to leave!! =)
Our beautiful home is COMPLETELY RENOVATED/UPDATED and is fully stocked!! Don't let the size of the front fool you, this home is open and extremely spacious. Walk into the beautiful, colorful foyer, with custom made barn doors covering the washer/dryer..continue into the large open living area and kitchen, adjacent to a huge sunroon with windows surrounding the entire room. Enjoy the sunlight all day and pull down the new shades for privacy at night The sunroom also doubles as a THIRD BEDROOM, the sofa is a queen sleeper. There is a door to separate the sunroom from the rest of the house for privacy at night,mad well as a door for private entrance in and out of the house.
EVERYTHING in this home is brand new, from sparking quartz counter tops, to the floors, to the furniture, and the kitchen sink. Nothing was spared, This is our vacation home and we want our guests to feel as at home as we do.
The master bedroom has a private bath. Every room in the house has a brand new LED flat screen TV with cable and of course, wifi.
The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need...(and all new)..blender, toaster, Keurig coffee maker with a variety of pods, all new cookware, dishes, glasses, etc. My goal is for you to bring food, your clothes, your bathing suit, and nothing else. The home also has a washer and dryer (with detergent provided) for you to wash your clothes =)
We also have a DVD player with DVD's, XBOX 360 with games, board games, etc..just in case you want a break from the beach. When you are ready to go to the beach, just walk 4 minutes down the road and you are in the heart of Kure Beach!!
Enjoy bicycles (updated annually), a heavy duty beach wagon to pull your stuff, beach chairs, and toys for the kiddos. Park your car in one of our two driveways and you wont need it again!
We know how hard it is to travel with little ones so here is a list of items we have provided for your young children and babies:
- pack n play with linens
- 1 booster seat high chair
- variety of beach toys, buckets, etc

This home is fully stocked with linens, there is no linen fee, and you don't need to bring your own linens like some other rentals. You will walk into a home with freshly made beds and clean towels.

ONE dog will be considered based on a set of questions I will ask. If you have a dog please do not make a reservation request until your dog has been approved. We are one of the few dog friendly homes on the island, we ask for honesty and respect regarding your dog so that we continue to allow your furbaby.

Cozy house not far from the beach.

My sister and I really enjoyed staying here. Lots of room, everything we needed. The neighbors were friendly. We felt safe and secure and were able to relax!

The pictures don't do this house justice! It's absolutely beautiful inside. Very clean and had everything we needed. Close walk to the beach and pier. 10/10 will definitely stay here again.

I was born in Kure Beach, both my parents grew up there. Life ended up taking me elsewhere but Kure Beach is where my heart lies. My father owned Nelsons Motel on Kure Beach, My grandfather owner the "original" Nelsons Motel many many years ago. My roots are there. This home has been in our family since 1998. I currently live in NY with my two young children. I love this house with all my heart, I love what I do, I love building relationships with my guests, and I love when someone leaves my home happy. Which is exactly why I chose not to go through a rental agency.

What makes this property unique

This house may not be beachfront, but I love the privacy of it. I love that I can walk 4 minutes and be in all the action of Kure Beach. I love that I can walk one block behind me and go to Joe Eakes park/playground. I like quiet, I love to sit outside and just breathe in that fresh air. The summer can be a busy time for KB, having a house a couple blocks away from the traffic and noise is my little slice of heaven.
