About this property
Cozy 4-Bedroom Mountain Duplex Retreat with Hot tub, AC, & WiFi in Aspen
Cozy 4BR mountain duplex just over a mile from downtown Aspen! Sleeps 8 with 2 queen + 4 twin beds. Enjoy stunning views of Aspen Mt, Independence Pass & Mt Shimmer from picturesque windows, a wraparound deck, and a private hot tub. Features a wood-burning fireplace, quiet neighborhood, free parking (2 car max), and all the essentials for a relaxing stay. Shuttle is a 5-min walk or $1 pickup from our home. Easy access to all 4 mountains—taxi also available. Perfect for families or groups.
ABOUT THE PROPERTY:
This charming home has been a beloved retreat since the 1980s, when George and Sue first made it theirs. It’s not sleek or modern—but that’s exactly what makes it special. Each room tells a story, with cozy details and picturesque windows that frame the incredible Aspen views.
The living room is a true highlight—soaked in sunlight with high ceilings, a double-sided fireplace, and a comfy sectional perfect for game nights or morning coffee. The dining nook invites long conversations around a spacious table that’s seen decades of laughter.
The kitchen keeps it classic with retro blue tile, original cabinetry, and everything you need to prepare a meal—or just toast a bagel and brew some coffee.
There are multiple bedrooms to suit your group’s needs, including:
• A bright upstairs bedroom with vaulted ceilings
• A queen bedroom with deck access and sweeping mountain views
• Two twin rooms, also with direct deck access and those same gorgeous views
After a day of adventure, unwind on the wraparound deck or soak in the private hot tub—ideal for stargazing or relaxing under the open sky.
This serene mountain escape is located just over a mile from town in a quiet neighborhood, offering both convenience and tranquility. You’ll have free parking for two vehicles, and for those looking to explore without driving, the free town shuttle stop is just a 5-minute walk from the house (maybe 10min in ski boots)—providing easy access to all four mountains. For added ease, the shuttle can also pick you up directly from the home upon request for just $1, on the hour and half-hour.
This home is all about comfort, character, and connection. If you’re looking for a polished modern stay, this may not be the one. But if you want a real mountain home filled with love and surrounded by nature—you’ve found your spot.
GUEST ACCESS:
While this is a duplex, you’ll have complete privacy. Your hosts are located next door if needed, but you'll have the space to enjoy a peaceful and uninterrupted stay.
Your private entrance is on the right side of the home. The left side is occupied by your hosts, Micaela and Eric. Both carports are reserved, but you’ll have designated parking in the driveway—free and easy, with space for up to 2 vehicles.
