Kalymnos Residence the art of Hospitality

Located in the idyllic Kalymnos island, our traditional family house has been tastefully and fully renovated in early 2016 to the highest quality. The house enjoys a stunning position of only a few meters from the colorful harbor of Kalymnos. Only 5 walking minutes from the city beaches and 1-2 minutes from the market. Private garden with a sitting area and private parking facilities for one-two cars in the heart of the city.
Two floors house with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the first floor, living room, kitchen and WC in the basement. The house can accommodate up to 5 people with all necessary facilities included. The ideal location will give you the opportunity to live in the center of the town and as well have the privacy to relax.

Lovely town house just a few minutes from the Platia

The house is very well located for Pothia. A short walk to the beach at the port or Gefyra and Therma. Lovely decor and the most comfortable bed and pillows! The neighbourhood is very original Kalymnian and that may be noisy from time to time. 😄 The bar next door managed to wake me up a couple of nights but it’s only open for winter (from October) and they also turned the music down every time I notified them about the noise. Maybe double windows or other soundproofing could help. Parking is a bit difficult to be honest. The street is very narrow and if there’s other guests at the next door studio you’ll share the space and be moving your car or blocked in etc. So I opted to parking down at the platia since it’s just 2 minutes away by foot. I liked the house alot to be honest. Loved the fact that it had a washing machine and a proper kitchen. It’s big enough for a family of two couples. Even for a group of friends the house is a real bargain with everything close by and driving with a scooter or car or even the buss all the places in Kalymnos are at your reach.

Familienfreundliches und geräumiges Haus im Zentrum von Pothia / Kalymnos

Das Haus befindet sich in einer kleinen Gasse im Zentrum von Pothia, bietet ausreichend Platz für drei bis vier Personen und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. In wenigen Minuten kann man den Hafen und das Geschäftsviertel erreichen und in das Leben einer griechischen Kleinstadt eintauchen. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und beantwortet alle Fragen innerhalb kurzer Zeit. Vor Ort wird man von seiner Schwägerin in Empfang genommen, welche ebenfalls perfekt deutsch spricht und sehr hilfsbereit ist. Auch Pothia ist als Ausgangspunkt für einen Kletterurlaub geeignet. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder.
