Westwind 504 is a two-bedroom, two-bath condo with amazing Gulf-front views from the 5th floor.Westwind is located just one mile west of Hwy. 59 in Gulf Shores.

• Access to the balcony is from the living room

• Luxury vinyl plank flooring is throughout the unit

• The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you could need in your home away from home. The dining area seats four and there are two bar stools for additional seating.

• A washer and dryer are inside the unit

• The living room has a sleeper sofa

• The primary bedroom has a king-size bed

• The second bedroom has a queen-size bed

• There are also twin bunk beds built into an alcove in the hallway, perfect for the children. *Children six years or younger should not be permitted on the top bunk.

• No waiting in long lines for check-in or check-out with keyless entry!

• A maximum of two cars is allowed

$400 FREE Activities Daily-Guests will receive one complimentary admission to our select activities per day. You can go to every one of these activities every day, and one person will be free per day. Additional guests will pay full price. Admissions are non-cumulative and non-transferable. Unused admissions expire daily.

So yes, you may choose to go fishing in the morning (one person is free), then golf at lunch (one person is free), and then go to the zoo that afternoon (one person is free). Or you may choose to go to the zoo in the morning with the kids (one person is free), and your husband can play golf (one person is free) and then meet that afternoon to go on the dolphin cruise (one person is free.) You may do some or all of these select activities every day, and one of your parties is free every day.

These activities are yours to use if you choose to do so at no additional cost or obligation.

*Does not apply to monthly reservations, and some activities are seasonal

Great Time!

Our family had a great time this past weekend. The property was nice and super close and easy access to the beach. Messaging back-and-forth was answered very promptly and a repair was made within a few hours of reporting it. Would definitely stay here again.

This condo was perfect for us. It’s spacious, and the view and beach access was exactly what we were looking for. There were ample dishes, however a few needed to be cleaned before use. Overall though, we had a pleasant experience.

Last minute trip to beach

Loved that this condo was on the end so balcony was open on the end, window at dining room table and window at kitchen sink. Living room had a wonderful recliner to look at the water and/or large screen TV.

We loved the smaller complex of Westwind. found condo as listed. Unit needs some up dating : furniture and rugs were dirty , tile floor in hallway was cracked and loose needs attention. some tile missing on balcony . We will book at Westwind again ,maybe try a different condo.

Nice location but that's about all the positive I have to say

BARE NECESSITIES ONLY... Where to start... We could start with the trailerhouse quality furniture that has neither style not comfort. Or perhaps the disrepair and overall shoddy work that was done in the places that had been repaired. I noticed a thick later of accumated dust on the AC intake. Just curious so I opened where the filter goes and it hadn't been changed in at least six months. Obviously repair and maintenance is not their top priority. How about that they don't even have a cookie sheet and the few pots, pans, and flatware they do have are old, beatup, mismatched, and cheap... looks like they pieced the entire place together with a day of garage sale shopping on the bad side of town. How about the fact that they have three remotes in the living room, some obviously from previously discarded electronics, yet no remote to the TV. Even better, how about this... They actually called while we were there and asked if we'd mind leaving for a few hours because they wanted to show the unit to a potential buyer. It wouldn't have been a big deal but it was storming at the time. Then this one, and while not the property owners fault, still utterly aggregating... The person who has the place directly above has their frigging Roomba programmed to sweep Saturday and Sunday morning at 6AM! I'm glad I got sleep in on vacation. How about the fact that they ran out of parking in the outside lot so I parked in the covered parking with my parking tag that said "this vehicle registration tag allows vehicle to occupy ANY AVAILABLE PARKING SPACE AT WESTWIND PROPERTY." Security then came to our room and said I had to move. That wasn't a big deal since a couple spots had opened up but irritating non-the-less. I called the property management company and got a call back from some arrogant sassy little guy who's grand logic was that the covered parking was for owners and the owners would obviously want their spot. To which I replied if the owner was here then they'd be in their unit instead of me. He obviously didn't appreciate logic or sarcasm. It's a decent location and the beach was nice but the unit was only acceptable and the leasing company was even less so.

This condo is perfectly located and all units have a balcony facing the beach. That being said, this was one of the dirtiest VRBO rentals I have ever stayed in. There were several dishes in the cupboard with gobs of food still in/on them. The tub didn’t drain until I removed handfuls of hair and several towels were stained. Overall, the unit needed a good refresh!We also had 2 days where the elevator was broken. The management company was quick to respond to my calls/texts and even gave us a small refund for our inconvenience, but it was difficult to haul all our beach gear up to the 5th floor. Would highly recommend Picnic Beach Bar and Grill on E 1st Ave.

First beach visit

The condo was perfect. Easy access to the beach. We had no problem parking. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Chairs are available to rent right in front of the condo. And as always the gulf coast beach was spectacular. We would stay here again.

The view is absolutely stunning. The balcony was an absolute favorite. The location is close enough to all of the hot spots in town but far enough away from the traffic. The walk to the beach and back with kids(5-15) wasn’t bad AT ALL. It was a shorter distance from the building to the water than most places we have stayed in the past. There is security in the parking lot during the day- that’s always a plus! The back bedroom was a little warmer than we are use to but after getting some sun throughout the week, I needed a heated blanket. There were a few minor things I addressed, but absolutely nothing that hendered our stay or inconvenienced my family. Our family made the best memories here. 10/10 recommend. The only thing I would suggest for the owners in the building is more frequent cleanings for the elevator. Otherwise we had a great stay!
