Very comfortable cottage with deck and a great view of the ocean. Quiet location with easy drives to nearby towns. The kind of place where you instantly relax.
Beautiful location right on gulf of st Lawrence beach lovely mostly all to ourselves just lovely we could hear the sound of the waves in the comfortable well stocked home Very private and quiet just what we wanted ! There are stairs down to beach which didnt bother us but would be good to be in listing Delightful spot Had a wonderful holiday Thank you
My mother and I were looking for a place in PEI to stay, where we could put our feet in the water and spend quality time together. This property did not disappoint at all. We spend the week walking the beach every morning, enjoying tea on the back deck and cooking meals together in the kitchen that has all the supplies you need. Even a round pizza pan. It was close to town to check out the local shops and grab anything we needed for meals. We are definitely adding this property to our list of places we must revisit.

This property is everything it promises - private beach, cottage is well equiped and comfortable. The check in was confusing as we were supposed to meet Brandy at the property at 1600, but she never showed. I had to use the cottage land line to confirm our check in. 2 things to note - there is no cell service, but there is a land line. And the farmers in the area use cannons to deter birds, the popping sound they make scared our dog. They fire regularly through out the day. Wayne was quick to answer all of our questions before we arrived.
This property was incredible! It checked off all of our boxes, and even the boxes we didn't anticipate. I would definitely recommend this property to others, and I would stay there again next time I'm in the area.
Peaceful quiet and relaxing location on the beach just what we were looking for. Will be going back for sure.

The Ultimate in Relaxation!
Booked our stay in February and had a VERY long wait until our vacation. IT WAS WORTH IT!! My biggest fear was it would not meet our expectations. I feared a small house where my husband, nephew and his wife would be bumping into each other and sleeping in very small bedrooms, it would not be properly maintained, crazy busy beach and a dirty kitchen. As my husband and I turned into a very cute, flower lined drive, my fears drifted away. I could not wait to get out of the car, walk to the beach and check out the raised flower beds. We were met by the caretaker as promised by the owner. She was very helpful in showing us the layout and answering all of our questions. The house is very well equipped; washer, dryer, lines, fully stocked kitchen. The property is a little further out than other properties we looked at, but driving on PEI is very pleasant. The beautiful scenery helped the time go quickly on our afternoon trip to Charlottetown. My favorite part of the day was cooking out on the gas grill and having dinner on the screened in "veranda" as we came to call the porch. When the care taker stopped by on our last day, we felt like we were leaving our home and a new friend. We are looking to next year and bringing our niece and her two boys to this wonderful home. The boys will be able to enjoy the beach without us worrying about strong currents and deep waters.
Find your piece of summer happiness by spending time at this Kildare Cape!
PEI and it's people are wonderful.
Countless thanks to Wayne for sharing what is surely as close to heaven as we've ever been.

Wonderful Peaceful Retreat.
We arrived in beautiful Kildare Capes and were greeted by the wonderful cafe takers. The house was down a peaceful long driveway. The house itself was immaculate with everything available. The entire property was perfect for our two dogs, with the backyard fully fenced and very large front yard with an expansive view of the ocean. The front yard has steps leading to a sandy private beach, which we walked numerous times daily. The property also has a huge detached garage where you can park your vehicle. Lots to do in Western PEI, with the town of either Alberton or Tignish minutes away for all amenities. We will absolutely be returning...Thanks for allowing us this wonderful stay.
