Riverfront home out your back door! Ski, Hike, Kayak, Beach, BBQ, Hammock, Relax
Wake up to the sounds of the Skykomish river right out your back door. Breathtaking and panoramic views of the Cascade mountains. Take a walk, just down the street of this quiet neighborhood to the beach for a picnic or a swim. Lounge in the chairs overlooking the river and enjoy your favorite beverage. Nap in the hammock while being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the rapids. Roast marshmallows, tell stories, or sing around the outdoor firepit (PLEASE check for BURN BANS). Cozy up with a blanket by the living room gas fireplace after skiing/boarding at Stevens Pass, just a 40 minute drive. This home has all you need to cook, relax and enjoy your cozy stay by the river!
We can accommodate up to 6 and possibly a couple more if you have small children.
Bring your fur babies (2 max) for a $75/pet fee for the first pet. There is an additional $25 fee for the second pet. I will send the fee request once you arrive. There is also a $25 poop pick up fee if my cleaner has to do this after you checkout. I will send this fee request through VRBO as soon as my cleaner notifies me. VRBO doesn't have an option on the fee page for an extra pet fee or poop fee.

If there are 2 dogs (max allowed) there will be another $25 pet fee request sent through VRBO. Please disclose this. We do check our outdoor camera.

Nice property, could use some TLC on a few items. Couch and love seat are showing lots of wear. Welcome book talks about the hot tub and its functionality. Was non-functional, but to be clear was not listed as an amenity. The A/C is a portable unit, on a sunny day struggles to keep up. Multiple box fans help but noisy. Listing implies access to the river that was assumed to be from the property. This is not the case. Access is from either end of the main rod through the community. Not a deal breaker, but feel the listing could be more clear. Overall very enjoyable stay.
The property (fam. of 4 w/2 ) very clean, comfortable and cozy. The owner was very nice and easy to communicate with.. a five minute walk down to the beautiful river! It was peaceful and relaxing to hear the river so close by. It is fully fenced for privacy (the border closest to the river though was a somewhat low railed fence and then a hillside of blackberry bushes so our dogs didn’t dare try to go down there (a border collie and a lab) however, a small dog might be inclined to go underneath the fence and so of course good supervision is always necessary be it kids or dogs lol) our two dogs were very happy to be able to go in and out off leash we just made sure to wipe their paws before they came back in. We ate at Gold Bar Thai and I was skeptical about the atmosphere but the food was VERY GOOD!! Had the Tom-Ka soup and so happy we gave it a try, make sure to get there early though they close at 8:30 but have a bar in the adjoining room and we saw more people walking in right up to the last minute and the service was good. We hiked Wallace Falls, take your time and definitely take breaks! It’s a decent steady climb on switch backs with rocky trails (good shoes a must) but when you reach the waterfall, it really is quite beautiful and worth some great pictures! The hike back down was a definite welcome relief! It’s about 2 miles up. Leavenworth is about an hour or so away, had fun there too! We highly recommend this property and will likely be back in the future!

About the host
Hosted by Nicole
My name is Nicole & I have been a super host for several vacation rentals. A few in Missoula, Montana and this one in Washington. I grew up in Western Washington and have resided in Montana for over 20 years! I have two boys. I love meeting people from all over and sharing this home in Washington with them! This has been my mom‘s dream home that she had built 20 years ago. She always wanted this to be a place of peace and serenity! I hope you enjoy your stay and I look forward to hosting you!
Why they chose this property
This is a wonderful small, 75 home neighborhood. It really is a place where neighbors help and watch out one another. At each end of the neighborhood is access to the river.
What makes this property unique
Everyone that comes here immediately feels a sense of peace and feeling right at home. Having a beautiful view of the mountains and river right out the large, ceiling to floor windows, with a private backyard, makes this place very special!
