We got our check-in info before we arrived and it was very easy to follow. The room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable and we liked having a step-in shower rather than a tub and shower combo. The bed is very comfortable and the A/C was cold, which was great since the weather was in the high 90's. Of course, you can adjust the temperature to your preference. The sitting area in the room is great and if you prefer you can sit in the lobby, which is like a living room, or on the balcony upstairs. The hotel is convenient to everything you want to visit in Laurel if you're a fan of the show Hometown. The beautiful historic district is within walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance, too. We loved that there was bottled water available in the room and the lobby. We couldn't have had a nicer stay!
