Cozy and comfy for our 3 night stay. Loved the stocked kitchen; food allergies have us cooking for ourselves when we travel. Neighborhood felt safe, even when out with dog at night.
We had a great 2-week stay at Jen's house. She was a wonderful host with great communication throughout our stay. It was the perfect home base for working remotely and easy access to skiing. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog, and The Picklr Pickleball club around the corner was an added bonus!! We would definitely stay here again!
Jen is a great host! The house came as advertised and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Our dogs had plenty of room to roam in the backyard. Short drive to downtown and freeways for mountain access. All in all, would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose.
Great stay and exactly what we needed while moving our daughter into a nearby apartment. The space is well appointed and very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped with nice appliances. Lovely yard as well with many beautiful flowers and raised planters with vegies and herbs. Also darling plants all around the inside of the home as well. Another great feature is the fenced in backyard that is darling with seating and festive string lights that come on in the evening. We hope to come again!
We couldn't ask for a better location for skiing the Cottonwood Canyons. So easy and convenient, especially the nearby grocery store and REI that we visited several times. The ice skating rink was a really cute area too. House had all of the amenities and really nice touches. We had a few hiccups while there that were communicated with the owner, e.g., the smell upon arrival that seemed to dissipate after the windows were open for a period of time, the dishwasher not working for the entire stay and the downstairs toilet had a leak and was also unusable. Assuming these items are fixed, we would definitely stay here again.
Welcome to my SLC home. I’m originally from a college town in Texas, where I grew up in a Bed & Breakfast, so hosting is in my blood. I’ve been enjoying living Utah for almost 15 years now. Half of that time was spent in Park City, and now I’m happily settled in Millcreek. I moved here when it first became a city, and it’s been incredible to watch it grow and thrive.
I graduated from the University of Utah and love attending sporting events as an Alumni. I’m an avid outdoor enthusiast, always up for skiing, biking around town, camping, paddle-boarding, or a game of pickleball. I also love the vibrant local SLC scene, from Happy Hours to discovering new foodie spots. I’m also a huge fan of dogs and love roller skating!
Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood because it offers a great mix of convenience, community, and outdoor access. Harmons grocery store is just a short walk away, and Millcreek Common has become a popular spot with its skating rink, farmers markets, ice cream truck, and local coffee shop.
It’s also close to Sugarhouse, and the mountain resorts are only 30-45 minutes away for hiking, biking, and skiing. Downtown Salt Lake is an easy 30-minute bike ride. It’s a central location that makes it easy to enjoy both the city and the outdoors.
What makes this property unique
What makes my property unique is the mix of indoor comfort and outdoor space. The spa bathroom offers a place to recharge, the lounge areas are set up for relaxing, and the beds are designed for a good night’s sleep.
I focus on keeping the space clean and free of harsh chemicals, so you can feel good about your stay.
If you want to stay active, there’s an exercise room, and the backyard has space to hang out, grill, or enjoy the fire pit. Whether you’re inside or out, this home is set up to be a comfortable, practical place to stay.
