The Avenue Carriage House is a charming 500 sq foot, 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit on the historic 3rd Avenue. It can sleep up to 4 guests with the queen bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Just 3 blocks to the train station, it's perfectly located to walk to everything Downtown Durango has to offer. The unit is newly constructed and has been completed with modern furnishings and high end stainless steel appliances. It has a private, south facing roof-top deck to enjoy the morning sun or evening BBQ. Durango permit #CUP14-07

The Carriage House was a delightful place to stay after finishing our thru-hike of the Colorado Trail. It was clean and spacious inside and we loved the outdoor deck. Communication with Dan was great and the location was within walking distance of everything we needed.

This rental was absolutely perfect for our time in Durango. Very well equipped, clean & comfortable. Lots of thoughtfulness went into the design of the carriage house. I really appreciated the closet area & the outdoor seating area. It was very hot during our visit, but the ac was perfectly cool & in the evenings still great to sit out and enjoy.

Hiking in Colorado

Beautiful carriage home with modern furnishings and all the touches of home. We enjoyed our stay. Easily walkable to everything in downtown Durango. Beautiful views from the cute little balcony.

Nice property that is close (we walked) to the downtown area. The Owners were responsive to any questions we had. The balcony is a really nice amenity to sit out and have a cup of coffee.

Very clean and cute and conveniently located.Directions could have been more clear, as Maps takes us to the front of the house, and we are supposed to enter from the back. Overall a lovely stay though!

Great spot right in town where we could walk to several places. Also a good spot to jump off to several of the great places nearby. The outdoor deck are was great to drink coffee and take in the morning sun

Sweet spot

Conveniently located to downtown Durango, we enjoyed this cozy and thoughtfully designed space, especially the private patio. Instead of eating out, we hunkered down in the carriage house, relaxing in the living room as if it was our own home. Sweet spot indeed!
