Historic Home built in 1916 with 3 finished floors in Byrd Park with 3 ponds and 1 has a fountain and peddle boat rental and next to Maymont Park and Zoo, Carytown is just a couple of block with window shopping Restaurant's and Pubs, there are 10 or so Restaurants and Pubs within walking distant. There is Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Edgar Allan Poe Museum, Science Museum of Virginia and Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar, Virginia Holocaust Museum and Hollywood Cemetery 1/2 mile no car needed.

Xmas in Richmond

We are a family of 5 from Australia who have been travelling in the USA for the past month. We wanted a family home in which to spend Xmas and New Year and Gary and Rebecca’s house was perfect. We were able to cook Xmas dinner and relax. The location was perfect for day trips to Jamestown and Charlottesville. We thoroughly enjoyed our long walks from the house to Maymont Estate. Easy access to Aldi.

Plenty of space in a convenient location.

Plenty of space for the two of us, and, if we were six people there would still be plenty of room. Pros: Large flatscreen TV pivots and has a reasonable selection of streaming service. We were able to watch Superbowl. Two level thermostats. Good wifi. Plenty of sundries, towels. Never failed to find parking in front, though there is dedicated two car spot in the back. 3rd floor exercise equipment. Cons: Guests or renters in basement level. Minor quirks: Pullout kitchen drawer housing commonly used utensils needs attention. Washer rubber seal showed a black substance, presumed mildew. This kept us from wanting to use the device.Suggest cleaner person leave the washer door open between rentals.

We are 60 year old couple semi retired we enjoy walking to Maymont Park, Walk to Carytown and around Fountain Lake.My wife enjoys decorating our house's and friends as well. I am 35 year experience Master Craftsman in commercial, architectural millwork, custom furniture business and Construction.

Location,Location,Lowcation Downtown, incredible restaurants, museums , and great boutique shopping. My home is brick with over 2,100 square feet of space . It has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and has 10 foot ceilings with great indoor and incredible outdoor living space. The Redskin Practice field is only 3/4 mile.

Location Location Location, No car needed, every thing is walking distant with 2 city Parks w/ 3 lakes, Carytown 35 or so bars and restaurants, 5 Museums , The Redskin Practice field, paddle boats, doggie park, tennis courts soccer field, , 1 mile exercise course. Maymont with Dooley Mansion, Children's Zoo, Japanese garden, water falls and they have large events going on often.
