Lakefront, 5 Bedroom "Aspen" Home on Beautiful Otter Lake near Princeton, BC

Nestled on pristine Otter Lake, near Princeton BC is the Aspen, a 2400 square foot five bedroom, three baths, lakefront home.

*Additionally a coachsuite above the garage containing a queen bed, sofabed and full bathroom are available upon request for an additional fee.
**We are unable to provide bedding for any of the sofabeds due to the laundry limitation at departure.

This west coast style home is fully equipped and ready for your vacation experience. Awaiting you in the house is a fully stocked kitchen, wood burning fireplace, hardwood floors, pool table, 75" smart TV, for guests to log in their person account, and a spacious great room furnished with comfortable furniture plus much more.

Outside, the property features a private dock reserved exclusively for our guests(public boat launch nearby). Just steps from the house is a private child-friendly sandy beach with a gradual entry, making it safe for young children. A complimentary canoe, as well as two kayaks and paddleboat are available for exclusive Aspen guest use including a selection of life jackets(sizes might be limited). The large grassy area allows plenty of room for games and lawn activities or just relaxing as well as a firepit for lakeside evening gatherings. The property also features a playground for our younger guests.
Parking is available for 6 vehicles or 4 vehicles plus a trailer.
*Please advise if you are bringing a trailer.

Otter Lake offers many year round activities including boating in the summer(yes, powerboats are allowed) and skating at the Tulameen outdoor rink and on the lake(with caution), as well as sledding, snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter.

The lake is 5 km long and is home to lake trout, kokanee and rainbow trout. The Canada Trail(formerly the historic Kettle Valley Railway) runs the entire length of Otter lake and is popular for cycling, ATVing and hiking and is visible from the Aspen.

The town of Tulameen, home to around 250 people, is a ten minute walk away and has a general store providing a takeout cafe, post office, liquor and gas sales as well as a generous assortment of grocery items.

A scenic 3.5 hour drive from Vancouver, BC, this spectacular home make it an ideal family vacation destination. The Aspen can accommodate a maximum of 12 people.
NOTE: EARLIER CHECK-IN AND LATER CHECK-OUT ARE AVAILABLE BETWEEN LABOUR DAY AND SCHOOL CLOSING IN JUNE UPON REQUEST AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

We request that our guests start a load of towels in the washer on "hot" setting.

Leave outdoor recreational equipment, dock, firepit and sundeck in order

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

No outside noise after 11pm

No more than 12 people on the property at any time, day or night.

House and recreational equipment must be left in order. All cardboard has to be taken home with guests as there is no cardboard recycling.

Our family had a wonderful time at Aspen Lodge on Otter Lake. A great, well-furnished house, perfectly located on a beautiful lake for family fun. Watercraft, games and toys provided. With a house this big we had some minor issues but Phebe’s prompt and thoughtful responses ensured we had a most pleasant stay. Excellent communication with her from first contact which is always a very important consideration. I can’t say enough good about this house and location in terms of providing a great family holiday for our three generations that started at age 6 and went up from there (way up).

Gorgeous Cabin, peaceful setting and amazing views

This cabin is our ultimate favourite family getaway that's close to home and always the kids first pick for getting away. The cabin is gorgeous and offers every possible comfort. This area has the most amazing views and quading/dirt biking areas. This cabin has a rustic yet elegant feel to it, is always spotlessly clean when we arrive and is stocked full of everything we need to have a comfortable stay. We usually come in the fall as there is still lots of great weather to be had and the vibrant colours of fall are so beautiful in Tulameen. We have also stayed twice in the winter and it truly was a winter wonder land. Any time of the year we come to visit, the kids' only complaint is when we have to leave.

Amazing, beautiful, and peaceful winter cabin!

I had the privilege of staying on this property this past January, and this gorgeous cabin accommodated us in every way possible. With snow all around, we played hockey on the frozen lake, had a fire, and enjoyed some awesome winter vibes inside the cabin. The photos do not do justice to the beauty of the cabin and the surrounding scenery. On top of all this, the host was incredibly helpful in answering any questions we had leading up to our stay! I will absolutely rent again in the fall/winter/spring seasons. I would especially recommend this to anyone looking for a perfect getaway from the lower mainland throughout the winter.

Family holiday memory maker

A fabulous retreat in a peaceful setting!!! Boating fun on a beautiful lake. Went kayaking and paddleboating on a peaceful lake. We brought our boat for hours of wakeboarding/waterskiing memories to be made. Our kids brought dirt bikes and explored the surrounding area. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen where gourmet meals can be made. Sleeping Accommodations were fabulous. You can rest by the water or on the deck or go grab an adventure! Beautiful walks or cycle into town to the General Store. We will definitely be coming back!!!
