Farm house 2 bedrooms cottage in Upper Lake with WiFi, AC, and family-friendly.


Our ranch/farm is located between Upper Lake and Nice. We are right on the corner of Highway 20 and the Nice /Lucerne cutoff in California. The ranch was long time ago a Christian retreat full of life and green everywhere with beautiful cabins and lots of fun thing to enjoy the day. We are simple family with a vision to make this place alive and beautiful again. If you have a heart that enjoys nature with their own beauty here is the place. Otherwise, is better to find another place because here is a working progress. The Olive house is like the pictures and we improve it as we go. Comfortable beds and a nice atmosphere. Our place is not a resort, it is simply ranch/farm with lots of things that need fixed. Old cabins and projects to make it a wonderful destination some day.

This was my second stay at Olive Cottage. It's a unique experience, with expansive acreage and lovely views. I love to birdwatch, and there were some great sightings at the pond. Euni, the host is friendly and helpful and the accommodations are comfortable and stylish.

We loved our stay here and highly recommend it. Wished we had booked an extra day so we could take advantage of the kayaks on the pond! We cooked multiple meals on the stove & in the oven. Everything in the unit worked well and the beds were firm & comfortable.

Our stay was perfect! It’s a perfect spot if you’re looking for a quiet and safe location that easy to get nowhere on the lake. Our group was here for a kayak tournament, the location of this house and the safety it provides us for our kayaks and gear was excellent. We will be coming back each year for sure!

Olive House

Olive House is a quaint little place in a quiet neighborhood, with great views of Clear Lake and surrounding mountains. Euni and her husband are wonderful hosts. I would absolutely stay there again if I am ever in Lake County.

It was a charming cottage! Very clean and had all the amenities you could want! Full kitchen and most appliances, extra blankets, iron/board, lots of storage space, games, toiletries, books, and more. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed our visit and would very likely return here the next time we go to Clear Lake! Highly recommend!

I like to cook and bake normal cakes. It my pleasure to have my guest for dinner or a cup of coffee.

Why they chose this property

We moved from a house with a small backyard to this one with a huge backyard. We have plans for the property and little by little we will get there. Long time ago the ranch was called “Meteor Ranch” and they used to host around 200 people. We want to make this place as beautiful as it was before with greens and nature around that who comes here will take back good memories and will want to come back because of the beauty and the peace. The ancient olive orchard will be ready soon.

What makes this property unique

The Olive trees are around 100 years old. 120 olives trees at the orchard with a pond at the end of the orchard and then mountains where the sun set. It is a wonderful spectacular every day.
The sunrise is on the other side that we can see too. The Konocti Mountain is another beautiful view. Konocti is a volcano and thank God it is sleeping.
