Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Turn off thermostat downstairs and upstairs.
Make sure remotes are with respective tv’s.
Check that outdoor equipment has been returned and stored as you found it.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Respect the property and the contents at all times. Disclose if there is an issue that needs owner’s attention.
Absolutely NO glitter or glitter activities/crafts allowed (it does not clean up well and you will be charged for damages).
While using the lake, no trash is to be left outside/water, dispose of any fish properly in the garbage, and put kayaks/canoe back as it was found.

Girls Trip

Family/friends including 6 women and 4 children ages 4-17. Plenty of space, wonderful amenities, very friendly host and beautiful scenery. There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about our experience, we enjoyed ourselves tremendously!

I would give this retreat one million stars if I could! By far the BEST we’ve stayed at. Super clean, super cozy, super spacious and super hosts! The attention to so many details in every aspect of this property shines through the minute you walk through the door. Spectacular sunsets over the private lake and the serene country atmosphere made this the perfect retreat for a fantastic girls weekend. The Hosts even helped out with a flat tire the day of checkout. We will for sure be back to stay for our next adventure to the Burg!!!

The lake is private, always looks like glass, and has the most colorful sunsets. The geese and ducks keep it from being too quiet, and the back deck and patio are the favorite spots.

What makes this property unique

This home is designed with your comfort and needs in mind. I had the joy of living in this house while renovating, so anything we found ourselves needing, we made sure to add it. You’ll love it’s far enough from the bustle but still close enough to see your favorite spots or restaurants. Can’t beat the waterfront retreat.
