We had the most amazing/fun time at this location celebrating birthdays! Awesome space, very comfortable beds, kitchen stocked with all you would need!! Communication from host on check in and out procedures was on time and ac units were great.Very Relaxing and the perfect vacation getaway!!

This was beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped rental. Even nicer than in the photos! We only used the upstairs bedroom which had a comfortable mattress. The weather was quite hot and humid during our stay and we found that the air conditioning kept both floors cool and comfortable. We needed a dog friendly rental for our small pup and this property totally met our needs. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others, even if you don’t have a dog.

The house and grounds were great. The only issue was we stayed for 6 days. We had to go out and get toilet paper and the need for more towels. Otherwise we had to do laundry every 2 days.

We absolutely loved our peaceful stay here. This house had so much character and was so cozy for our Chesapeake Bay vacation ! There is a small town close by (7 minute drive) with amazing food options. The beach is a two minute drive from the home. Very relaxing stay , host was very responsive. Linens were fresh and house had EVERYTHING you needed. Very accommodating stay - thank you!

Loved the location being so close to the Rappahannock river and the Chesapeake bay. The local marina was only 1.7 miles down the road for boat ramp access. A fisherman’s dream! House was perfect for fishermen and ocean enthusiasts!

Such a fabulous house, it was just the two of us and our dog but this would be perfect for two couples--one bedroom on each floor.Fabulous, well equipped kitchen, lots of dishes, cookware enough to prepare a wonderful seafood feast or Thanksgiving! Unfortunately, the weather was not in our favor except for one day so did not get to enjoy the fire pit. The deck facing the water was great for sunset watching—no sunrises due to weatherIf the opportunity arises would not hesitate to stay here again

We had a wonderful stay; we only wished we would have booked an additional day! Perfect house and we loved the lay out and all that it offered.
We caught a beautiful view from the upstairs porch on our first night.
My favorite area to relax. Right by the wood stove with my little buddy and some hot tea!

Everything was very nice. The kitchen is located on the second floor and has everything one could need. There is plenty of room for having a big family dinner. The yard is quite large which our dogs appreciated. There is no fence around the yard but it wasn’t an issue for us. We would happily stay here again.

What a wonderful country beach house! This house is charming and cozy. I love the older furnishings - of high quality. This is not an ikea house! I loved having breakfast on the back, screened in porch. Cooking in this well stocked kitchen with a pleasure. Our host was quick with communications and everything was very easy for us. I highly recommend this house for a relaxing getaway!

Very comfortable and delightful house! Furnishing and supplies were generous. Location was ideal. Host was always available to communicate. While pet friendly, there was no indication that pets had visited the house. Overall the house was clean; however, the outside of the second floor windows need attention.

Amazing house in Whitestone, VA.

We had a wonderful stay at the guest house in Whitestone Virginia. The house was stocked with everything you could’ve possibly needed. The inside was better than the pictures. The host was abundantly, helpful, and communication was outstanding.
