Welcome to Santa Marianita! Breathtaking sunsets, healing sound of the vibrant ocean, rejuvenating long walks on the "like private" beach, kite surfing, beach restaurants. The golf course, historic center and souvenirs at famous Montecristi, wild life and curious monkeys at Pacoche jungle, Manta's fresh sea food market, Manta’s new mall—-all 20-30 minutes drive.
I am glad to offer my family home to friendly guests! I thank you
for respecting the “house rules”.


This oceanfront spacious two-bedroom/two-bathroom condo is one of four apartments. The place is located in the quieter area of Santa Marianita, right next to the security guard’s post to the Urbanization.
You will have a queen size bed in one bedroom and a king size bed in the other bedroom. Per you request the king size bed can be separated into two twin beds. Maximum capacity for this unit is four guests.
Parking:
The parking at the property is limited to two spaces-one car behind the other, in tandem.
The cost of the parking at the property: $4/night, $20/week, $30/month.

A parking outside of the property walls is SAFE, it is next to the security guard’s post.

Guest access:
I will provide check-in details three days prior to your arrival.


Around and close by:
La Playa Santa Marianita is a nice and safe community, where the residents take a good care of each other, and the visitors and tourists enjoy the relaxation, food and activities available at the beach.
A 2-mile-long beach, which is almost private Monday through Friday. Many locals come to enjoy the beach on Saturdays and Sundays. There are many restaurants on the beach.
Sta Marianita has 3 kite surfing schools.
Whale watching season is between May and October.
Turtles, dolphins, exotic birds on our beach...and so much more.
There are couple of small stores, where you can buy necessities, in the village of Santa Marianita.

Manta airport, a new shopping mall, movie theater, exclusive restaurants and much more ----- ONLY 15-20 minutes drive from this hidden treasure, La Playa Santa Marianita!

Unforgettable
Let me start by saying the pictures do no do this place any justice. We had unit #4 upstairs. The views of the ocean and the beach are breath taking. Albina is awesome and very easy to work with and very responsive. The check in process was very easy even with a late night arrival. Albina gave great recommendations on several restaurants right on the beach and all of them were good. She also gave us the name of taxi cab driver that spoke English. The sounds of the waves at night are amazing and will put you right to sleep. The people in Santa Marianita are very friendly. The unit itself was very clean and we did not have any problems during the stay. If you are just looking for a place to exist and enjoy the slow pace and beauty this will be the place for you. We were also able to see whales from the balcony several times during the stay. If you walk to the end of the beach in the direction of Ocean Freaks you can see the Blue Foot Boobys on the rocks. Lastly, I highly recommend Albina's place. We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful western standard appointments
Very friendly and hospitable owner on premises. Front tier with beautiful access to beach. Very clean and well maintained. Managers check in daily for any needs. Transportation to Manta can be changliing at times, but doable. Suggest stocking up on groceries before hand. No stores close. Restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful beaches to walk and explore.

Great place but two mentionable issues
We really enjoyed our time and would highly recommend it to others as long as you are aware of two issues.... First, the pictures are deceiving and the description of the home unclear: this is a 4-unit condo. There is two 2-bedroom units on the second floor and two on the main floor. The photos that are shown in the ad are a compilation of more than one unit. We realized this after examining the photos multiple times and upon confirmation with the owner, but it was not clear initially and we could have been very disappointed if we expected we were renting the entire place. Luckily, we happened to visit when there were no other guests so we had the terrace to ourselves. It would not have been the same experience if it had been fully booked! Second, there is active construction going on next door (as of Nov 2017). The workers were there from before 8am to after 5pm every day of our stay. This included sometimes very loud construction noise as well as on one day a fair bit of chemical fumes. We found it was unpleasant relaxing on the terrace during the day and could even hear the noise within our unit so ended up spending most of our days out on the beach. We felt it was wrong of the owner not to inform us of this active construction especially because it turned out the house being built is for the owner! Beyond these two minor/major issues, we felt the unit itself was great. Modern, clean, right across the beach. There's a couple of small restaurants open in the area, even during shoulder season. The building managers who greeted us were friendly and professional and we felt well taken care of (ignoring the construction noise issue) In general, a great holiday spot as long as you go in aware of what to expect
