Negaunee Union Station Depot

Experience the grandeur of the Railroad Era when you step inside and see the quality workmanship and restoration. Beautiful mahogany woodwork and turn of the century craftsmanship grace the interior. This is the ideal setting for family gatherings, special events, retreats or just to 'escape' from the mundane. Contains a master bedroom, two full size murphy beds in the family room, and an additional sleeping loft above the sauna. Sleeps 15, has 3 bathrooms, 2 showers, kitchen and seating for 24, we can get extra table if needed.

"We had a absolutely spectacular stay at this unique property! This beautifully converted old train depot provided the perfect setting for our daughter's wedding weekend. It has a tremendous amount of space, which allowed the bridesmaids to stay comfortably the night before the wedding and gave us plenty of room to host the rehearsal dinner. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped and made catering and meal prep completely stress-free. The newlyweds also spent their wedding night here and loved the charm. We were very happy with our stay and highly recommend it for any special family gathering!"

Great venue for a large group. One bathroom had a toilet that needed some work as it's stability was questionable. Enjoyed our time there and the area around Union Station!

This was the fourth time that I’ve stayed at the Union Station Depot, and I hope to return. Our group consisted of 9 retirees to enjoy snowmobiling. The weather was great and the trails did not disappoint. We love the historic beauty of the Depot. It has everything we need for a relaxing stay.

Great place to stay. The building is beautiful inside with a nice kitchen and sitting areas to chat with friends after the ride. It also has a large patio area with festoon lights to relax and enjoy cocktails.

A very unique opportunity for us to stay. It was right on the Iron Ore Heritage Trail that was a big plus for me as a biker. The city was close to everywhere I wanted to go. Kitchen was great but what I enjoyed was sitting at the barstools reading news with my morning coffee looking out to the trail. Very clean and host was extremely responsive.

Great Location

We loved our stay at Union Station, such a great place for a family. We enjoyed Pictured Rocks and Negaunee. There is a hiking trail close by where you can find open and closed iron mines. You can walk to a very cute ice cream store. We really enjoyed the history of this Depot.

Beautiful restoration! Loved it! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Awesome place

We loved this fun and unique place. It was so interesting and full of history. The owners did a great job restoring it.plenty of everything you need there. The little town had a lot going on the few nights we were there. It was nice to sit outside and relax . So glad we chose this place

We held our son’s graduation party here and had family stay the weekend. I can’t say enough good things about the entire experience! Birthday Party Place

The venue was perfect for a birthday party for 60 guests. Very little decorating is needed, because the restoration of this Depot was done extremely well, using natural beauty. Lots of refrigerator space is available.

Perfect for what we needed. Very well stocked, clean. Bill was very responsive and attentive. Shower in the sauna was the best!
