This property is perfect for family getaways, family reunions, staff retreats, or special family events like weddings, baptisms, or birthdays- just 1 hour from Chicago! The house is situated at the highest point in McHenry county with beautiful view of a private pond and rolling hills. The house can accommodate multiple families comfortably. The downstairs living room has a large screen tv and the house is equipped with excellent wifi. The event barn includes an outdoor kitchen, 10 picnic benches, and outdoor lighting perfect for special family events. The pond has an outdoor fireplace that can be used for bonfires and s'mores. Beautiful nature trails surround the private pond, and a small paddle boat is available for guests to use. The property is 12 minutes from historic Woodstock square and a 20 minute drive to Lake Geneva.
