About the host
Hosted by Jackie Mathys

Hi, we're Jackie and Steve. We're retired business owners who now split time between caring for our property in Oregon and enjoying the peace of rural life in Copco. Hosting gives us a chance to share the beauty of this riverfront escape with guests who appreciate nature, comfort, and a little bit of adventure. We take pride in making sure your stay is easy, enjoyable, and memorable.
Why they chose this property
This stretch of the Klamath River is rural, peaceful, and wild. The neighborhood is quiet and remote, with soaring cliffs in two directions, starry nights, and the soothing sound of the river in the backyard. What I enjoy most is the feeling of truly getting away from it all. Whether you're fishing, hiking, riding e-bikes or just sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee, it's a place that makes you slow down, breathe deep, and feel grounded.
What makes this property unique
This property sits right on the newly restored Klamath River — once dammed, now running free for the first time in over a century. It’s comfortable without being fancy, lived in without feeling gross. A perfect basecamp for outdoor lovers, or a quiet escape for anyone who just wants to hear themselves think.
