About the host
Hosted by Meghan Lane

We’re from the area and have recently returned due to life circumstances. We purchased this house as a retirement home for my mother, and have worked on it as our labor of love. We enjoy creating a space that is comfortable and invokes gratitude and enjoying what truly matters in life.
Why they chose this property
The Mendocino Village is such a wonderful place. What makes this home’s location special is the walkability and view. You can see the ocean from the back deck, and you can simply walk to the beach, it’s a short walk! You can walk right out your front door to everything, there is no need to drive at all. Wonderful food and dining, excellent pastries and coffee in the mornings, literally next door. One of our favorite things is the old redwood hot tubs that they have for rent next door, extremely hot and relaxing. Why would you ever leave?
What makes this property unique
What makes our property unique is the soul of the home. Originally a carriage house, this home has been transformed and loved over the years. Modest and humble, yet comfortable and healing. The cozy furniture and comfortable linens are wonderful, but what makes this home truly special is the heart and soul of the home.
