Having to share the property unknowingly was a bit of a surprise. I found out from a neighbor that the host lived in the basement. Garage access was limited in a cold weather state.

Worst experience ever

This reservation was absolutely the worst we have experienced. We went to the house rental and learned it had been rented to the owners family without canceling. My husband and I had planned our 37th anniversary party during our stay. We went to the house to learn it was rented. I’m still dealing with Vrbo since I have not gotten a refund in 9 days. I will deal with them tomorrow. It was exhausting. My husband is disabled so we went back to a hotel and after feeling so frustrated we decide to go home to California. Horrible experience
