About this property
Lake Cottage On Greers Ferry Lake
Located just down the street from Greers Ferry Lake, our beautiful and cozy cabin is ten minutes from Tennenbaum Golf Course, a short drive from trout fishing on the Little Red River, less than an hour from the music and hill-town culture of Mountain View, and surrounded on all sides by the natural beauty of the Ozarks.
You’ll love the cabin for the coziness and the amenities, and you’ll love the location because everything you would ever want to do is a stone’s throw away!
Our cabin is great for solo adventurers, couples, and families with kids.
What some of our guests had to say:
“Greatest little cabin in the woods I’ve ever been to.” “Looking for a quiet, relaxing place away from hustle and bustle? This cabin is perfect.” “Great place to stay for a nice quiet get away! So close to the lake and boat ramp.’ “This is a perfect getaway cabin in a beautiful setting. Everything is exactly as it is described in the listing. Would absolutely come again.”
When you get tired from all the fun you’ll be having, there’s a master bedroom with king-size bed, a second bedroom with two bunk beds, as well as a couch and an outdoor hammock.
If you don’t feel like eating at one of the fabulous restaurants in the area, you can cook up a feast of your own in the full kitchen or out on the grill on the spacious back patio. You can lounge around the living room, read a magazine on the front porch, or sit out back and watch the kids play in the huge yard. And when it gets dark, enjoy coffee and s’mores by the firepit, or lay in the hammock and watch the stars.
WiFi is included, and the cabin has two TVs with BluRay players (no TV channel service) for a cozy movie night. That said, we still encourage our guests to get outside and enjoy the Natural State, or cozy up with a book. You’ll be glad you did!

Quiet escape!
We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. Very quiet and was able disconnect from everything. It was exactly what I needed. The cabin was very cozy and clean. The only suggestion I have is to make sure your cleaner gets the fridge and trash can. We will definitely return for another weekend.

Perfect little cabin
This is exactly what we were looking for: a private getaway, away from the chaos of everyday life. The cabin was very clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. It is located on a very large lot and offers plenty to do outside. My kids loved the hammock and yard games. I was impressed with the reading selection (Steinbeck and Thoreau, to name a couple of the authors). The decor was equally impressive, with several pieces that looked to be original works. My wife loved the coziness of the place and was thoroughly impressed with how well-kept it was. The owners were an absolute pleasure and were very accommodating. This place made our mini-vacation perfect. We will definitely return!

Thanks guys! So glad you enjoyed your stay at our place! And, yes, my wife did all the oil paintings, and the landscape painting were done by Foster Hanford, a local artist. Thanks again for the great review, and we can't wait to host you again!

Nice and quiet
We overall really enjoyed our stay here. The owner was extremely nice and accommodating. Just a couple of minor complaints: There are only two window units in the house. One is in the living room and the other is in the extra bedroom. The master bedroom doesn't have one and would get very warm. If we tried to sleep with the door closed, we would have to get up in the middle of the night and open the door to let some of the cooler air in. Also, not much closet space. Bring your own hangers if you do wish to try to hang your clothes. Overall nice and would stay here again. Very close to the boat launch.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We actually are getting a quote on central heating/air next week, so hopefully when you come back that issue will be taken care of! We are sorry it got warm on y'all in there. I will square that away! Currently we keep all of our personal stuff locked up in the closet, but that does cut down on our guest's storage. This fall, I am building a owner's locker in the laundry room so we can let guests use the closets. That should help a ton. We never thought we would have so much interest in our place, so we are playing catch-up in all these areas so that we can provide the best atmosphere possible! Thanks a ton for your great review, and we hope to see you again soon!
This was a great location and comfortable place to stay for 4 people

This is a nice little Cabin that put us exactly where we wanted to be: very convenient to Greers Ferry Lake. Property manager was very responsive and accommodating. This place has everything you need in the way of appliances and cookware.: Very thoughtfully equipped with little things that one might not remember to bring like sugar, coffee filters etc.

Thanks so much!! I’m glad y’all had a great time! Please come back and see us soon!
This property is very quiet and secluded. We were in Arkansas motorcycle riding and used this as our base. It was perfect for us. You can tell it is an older place, but everything works fine. Minor things are strange but they don't affect it. ( upside down switch, fans operate weird, no ceiling light in living room.) We will definitely be looking to rent again in the future.
Had a great stay. Clean house with well equipped kitchen. No dining area but we managed.
Lake is absolutely amazing as always. If you have a boat , the ramp is close to put in and enjoy a day swimming, skiing, and cliff jumping. We will be back. Thanks Preston

About the host
Hosted by Preston Palmer
My wife Trish and I live in Conway and get up to the cabin as much as we can. Trish grew up just down the street from the cabin, and her parents actually still live out there. We have a special place in our heart for that area, and we know that you will love it as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
We chose this cabin because it's right next to Greers Ferry Lake, ten minutes from the fairways and greens Tennenbaum Golf Course, a short drive from the marinas and restaurants of Heber Springs and trout fishing on the Little Red River, and less than an hour from Blanchard Springs caverns and the folk music of Mountain View.
You can take a romantic drive through the Ozark National Forest for the foliage, wildlife, waterfalls, and trails, browse for antiques up and down Highway 65, take in a cruise on the Belle of the Bay or a classic car event at Fairfield Bay, practice your swing at some of the other courses on the Arkansas Golf Trail, or hike up Sugar Loaf Mountain for breathtaking views of the entire region.
What makes this property unique
You can see the stars really well at night from our big back yard - and it's so peaceful and serene out there! That is probably my favorite part of our place.
