Our stay at the Mountain Loft Lodge was wonderful. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are so soft. There is a very nice shower in the bathroom and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. Location is great and the entire place is clean and well kept. Easy access and amazing views at anytime of the day. Will stay here again.
We had a nice stay in Thane. Loved the location and proximity to many things to do. Host was very friendly and provided everything we needed. Will be back hopefully.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was nice and clean and had everything you need on this property.
The view was amazing. The owner was nice and friendly as well. We will be back again soon!
Communication was awesome prior to and during our stay. The loft had everything we could have needed and then some. It was easy to find and a perfect location for our visit. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We would highly recommend it.
I stayed here for a week on a business trip and it was nearly perfect. It's a beautiful location. The Loft had everything I needed, including a nice quiet place to rest. And it's close to Thayne where I was working for the week. My only regret is that I didn't have more free time to go explore those mountains, across the pastures, outside the kitchen window.
Karen and Von are wonderful hosts! The loft was very cozy and had wonderful views of the mountains. Our dog had a great time running through their 13 acres of fields. And they were good with pets. Great and safe location, being 30 minutes from Alpine/Bridger-Teton National Forest and 1 hour away from Jackson. Their house is a bit close to the loft, but they were very respectful of our space and privacy. Would stay again!
Cook breakfast looking out to horses grazing in green fields with mountains in the distance. We saw incredible full arch double rainbows in the backyard. The loft seemed brand new with everything supplied for your comfort. Beds and linens were very nice. Owner was available to help with anything.
This VRBO is the best! This was our second visit to this property because we loved it so much the first time. It is centrally located in the Star Valley and easy to find. The VRBO is so well-appointed, everything you could think of and more. Your host is amazing, a great communicator and is so responsive to every question or need. The yard and grounds are well manicured and it's all just beautiful. One day during our stay there were 5 young bucks running across the back of the property. The air is so fresh and clean. The rains were gentle and refreshing. This is a great stay and we will surely be back!
This is a lovely accommodation, and a lot of care has been put into decorating the loft. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked.
We were aware that the loft does not have air conditioning and were prepared to use window box fans to blow out the hot air (we even brought a couple of extra fans), however we were not aware that one of bedrooms is an interior room without any windows. Unfortunately, it was in the 90's during our stay and even though it did cool down at night in the other rooms the interior bedroom did not cool down until well after midnight.

Not real inviting
Well the parking was tight and muddy
The loft was over crowded with all kinds of old stuff to make it look decorated (no room to put guests things)
Water pressure - was none
I didn't feel it was real clean - clutter under sink and all the cabinets
The owner said there dog was not friendly so every time we walked out the door from the loft you are facing right at the owners house so the dog was barking jumping at the sliding door (made me feel very uncomfortable)
No exhaust fan - smoke alarm went off. But did like the stove.
Curtains keep falling down - very cheaply hung.
Wanted to cook a pot of chile - no big pot, however the owner did let me borrow one from her.
It may be pet friendly but beware the road out front is a very busy road it you want to walk your dogs.
But it did serve our purpose - we were only there for a week for work.
Quiet & private 2/2 with great views that’s well stocked and appointed. Star Valley is wonderful with great hiking and restaurants with owners & staff who are so friendly. Great place to use as a base for Jackson Hole, Grand Tetons & Yellowstone. Karen so nice with great communication. Would definitely recommend.
We enjoyed our stay and the responsiveness of our host! The space is just as shown and it offers a quiet residential area that provides access to lots of opportunities.
From here, we visited up to Jackson and down to Bear Lake (a must see) and everything in-between. And nearby, access to trailheads for hiking and the Star Valley Ranch with two nearby community pools open to the public for a nominal fee.
As our overall rating indicates - a 5-Star rating!
We were visiting the Jackson Hole area and stayed in this cute loft. The loft was clean and well stocked. The owners were very responsive to questions. Great place to stay!
This was a perfect place for 3 days for my husband, 18 yr old daughter, and me to explore Wyoming & parts of Yellowstone National Park. We loved the quiet, scenic location about 52 miles from downtown Jackson. Despite its rustic look, it had all the necessary modern amenities such as High Def TV, WiFi, dishwasher, and Keurig coffee machine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
