Wonderful place to stay

It has become an annual trip to the finger lakes for wine tasting and this the only place we want to stay. Close to all the best wineries (LOVE Jeremy and the team at Damiani), walking distance to restaurants (LOVE Thai Elephants), is clean and modern, has great views, easy check-in…. I could go on…. You won’t go wrong by choosing Painted Rock Vacation rental properties. We’ll be back next year!!!

Great stay! Owners are super responsive & kind. House is very clean. Has everything you need…even paper towels, dish towels, plastic bags, etc. love the keurig & pancake griddle! Great views of the lake!

Wine tasting weekend

We were visiting to enjoy the wineries and the fall foliage. This was a perfect location. The property is clean and roomy with all of the necessary amenities. I highly recommend this property and owner!

It was a perfect location for our mini family reunion

We gathered for a mini-family reunion and birthday celebration - the rooms and bathrooms were clean and linens fluffy- kitchen was well appointed - the hosts were very responsive - even helping us secure a package arriving overnight - easy walk into town - the views were spectacular from the balcony! We highly recommend!

Great location and space

Our group of friends spent 3 nights at this place and it was perfect for us. The location is perfect, right by the lake. We were able to walk to town. It's a unique place, that allows 3 couples to have personal space and also big enough for a group dinner and gathering. The owner was great with communication and very responsive.

This home is amazing! Six adult guests. Plenty of room and privacy. Walking distance to many downtown attractions located on the water with beautiful patio and lake access to kayak Dan and Ann are amazing and very helpful!

Convenient and beautiful

There are no shortcuts taken on this property. The view and convenience are unbeatable. You get the spirit of the lake and the feel of being in your cottage. We’ve stayed here several times. Never disappointed.

This property is amazing and exceeded our expectations. Up-to-date, clean, roomy, comfortable beds, nice & clean bedding, lots of little extras (soap, shampoo, make-up remover packs...who thinks of that - lol, trash bags, etc.). Will return to this house as often as available when looking for a stay in WG.

Lovely stay at Seneca Lake

Perfect location and beautiful views of Seneca lake. House was spacious -had all that we needed during our stay including towels, sheets, hand wash, etc - very thoughtful. Easy communication. Watkins Glen Park and restaurants - all walking distance. (Only recommendation is to add full length mirrors in bedrooms or bathrooms - which has been suggested in other reviews).

Enjoyed our stay

Many great things about the house: beautiful view of Lake Seneca, easy walk to town, big rooms and bathrooms. Deck was nice for an afternoon cocktail enjoying the water. None of us recalled a mention of three flights of stairs, or lots of traffic noise, somewhat uncomfortable living room seating. Kitchen doesn’t have large drinking glasses and has small coffee mugs. Host was very responsive.and helpful.

Wonderful stay…

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the property. Everything is exactly as described and pictured. The property is very convenient to most major attractions in the area and definitely within walking distance to town. We had one minor issue that was addressed immediately. In all honesty, the responsiveness to this minor concern exceeded our expectations. I’m posting this here not to complain about the very “minor” issue but to let any reader know how responsive property management was to getting it taken care of. I’d highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed.
