This house was ideal for us. There were 10 of us for a family birthday reunion, and we all had plenty of room. There is plenty of space in the pool area, and lots of hanging out areas, including a pool table. The neighborhood is gorgeous, nestled right up against the bottom of the mountain. We enjoyed morning walks, looking at all the beautiful homes and landscape ideas, And enjoyed cocktails by the pool in the evening. It’s a two minute drive to Palm Springs, and an easy exit out of Palm Springs to head back home. We will stay here again if we ever have the need or opportunity. The host is very accommodating and super prompt and answering questions.
Terrific property for our weekend away! Loads of space, comfortably large bedrooms, 5 of which had en-suite bathrooms. Large kitchen, great for evening meals and relaxing. Location was perfect, right up against the mountains with lovely views and good access to local attractions.
We brought my husband's entire family of 12 to Palm Springs to celebrate my mother-in-law's 60th birthday. The house was a spacious place to spread out and enjoy meals and pool time together. My only complaint was that the house definitely didn't have those added amenities I've enjoyed at other high-end rentals such as coffee, tea, specialty soaps, welcome bottle of wine, etc. Not a big deal, but it was commented on by the birthday girl so I thought I'd mention. Overall the pool was wonderfully warm (unlike some other places we've stayed) and the sauna was a definitely a hit!

Beautiful place but BEWARE
Beautiful place in what seems like a great location. We were warned about making too much noise prior to check in. Had some music going inside with windows open at 7:30pm midstay and were greeted by the local patrol and given a fine. Then the host called and said that's it we're evicted pack your bags. No warning other than that from the host before we arrived. No refund from host for 2 unused nights. If you plan to have ANY fun, don't stay here.

wonderful home, nice neighborhood, but make sure you are quiet.
comfortable house, most of the beds are comfortable, the bedrooms are spacious. For the most part house has everything you need, but had a few issues with freezer and patio furniture, We read a review from a year ago that mentioned the freezer and pool furniture, so this has not been attended to, some of the fixtures in the Elton John room did not wokr. There is ongoing construction of houses right next door, that you could hear most of the day, when sitting outside. However, you could not hear inside house. The property manage was very responsive to issues. The lounge chairs at the pool could use some TLC, the windows can not be opened in the common areas, and the AC is uneven in parts of the house. The house was very clean and for the most part comfortable. It is a fabulous location in Palm Springs, and close to town and the airport, and good walking to look at mid century modern homes.

Thank you for your review Phyllis! We are happy to hear such great feedback on our property. It’s definitely located in one of the best neighborhoods in Palm Springs with rich history and beautiful homes. Managing vacation rentals is tough, guests tend to be very rough on everything and we try to do our best to keep the home in top shape. We want to address a couple of the items where you said we haven’t tended to previous issues. The pool furniture is a constant maintenance item where they are replaced almost twice a year from the use and possible misuse of guests standing or jumping on them along with the very hot temperatures and sun exposure in the summer months, occasionally there may be one or two chairs that have a slight tear but are replaced as soon as we can have matching ones shipped. The freezer is also in great working condition, your messages to us confirm your group was not closing the sub-zero all the way and that cause the back wall to freeze. We reset it after your check out and it’s back to working perfectly.

Great location, but house is a bit worn out
We had an amazing time, but it does feel like this house could use a freshening up and maintenance or price it lower and communicate that this is a house that has been used extensively for hosting large groups with little to no upkeep. See my list below.
Let's start with the good. Pool, pool toys, hot tub, location (proximity to town and neighborhood), size, number of bathrooms, kitchen (size and gear), communication with property managers.
The not so good. Intercom/radio, shower controls in most bathrooms, bidet in main bath, poolside chairs that were not meant for sitting/laying (slide right off regardless of back adjustment), slow wifi, rotting trim around freezer/fridge, freezer (no ice production or ability to keep things frozen), bathrooms that lock (very few actually had locks), deck on main BR (dirty, paint chipped, no furniture), TV remotes (mystery ons/off in different bedrooms), nasty grill and grill area, TV by grill screwed shut (we wanted to watch the tennis with no sound), umbrella by pool not opening

Thank you for your honest review and staying with us! We love hearing your group had an amazing time and our amenities were a hit. During busy seasons, back-to-back reservations do take a large toll on our homes and is hard for our maintenance team to get in and do touch-ups. We would have loved to hear about your issues while you were checked-in as our team is very responsive and could have helped resolve most of these issues quickly either over the phone, or in-person. Wifi in homes often times just need a quick reset every so often to increase speeds, the high-speed internet is usually very responsive. The sub-zero freezer can sometimes have issues getting up to temp after check-in if the door is left open too long while loading or when housekeeping is cleaning, this can also lead to it freezing the back wall which can throw off the thermostat. We could have let you know to turn it off to reset it and the issue would have been resolved. We will be sure to have our team check for this issue more often so it doesn’t happen to future guests. Housekeeping usually does a very good job cleaning the grill, with stainless steal appliances, they usually never miss it, but we will be sure to review this with the housekeeping company. We just had a couple days in between reservations for our maintenance team to do a full reset on the home, so we hope to have your group come back again to redeem ourselves.
It was a very nice home to stay at with my dear friends and family. The neighborhood is very nice and I recommend taking a stroll. There is old Hollywood history and the home of icon just around the corner. We would stay there again!!!
We had a work retreat (9 people) stay here. It was very comfortable and in a beautiful neighborhood. The pool area was lovely, as were the 6 unique bedrooms. The view of the mountains was incredible as well. Definitely recommend!
The house was perfect for our very large family gathering. We enjoyed the pool area, everyone had their own room and the kitchen was large enough for many cooks at the same time.
Brought a bachelor party of 8 guys. We’re all in our mid-30’s, so it was the perfect spot for us. Quiet, private, close to golf and great restaurants. The rooms/beds are first class. Loved staying here.
Mercury Palms was even better then anticipated. David was there on arrival as I needed to sign a rental document but that was the only formality. Palm Springs in July is hot - no surprise - but sometimes a few surfaces were almost too hot to touch. Everything worked perfectly except the spa device controlling the spa waterfall and jets. When David realized it was broken, he entrusted us with the software so we could turn the spa on or off as we wanted. Nice. The AC noticeably had issues fully cooling some of the bedrooms but we still slept ok. We would gladly return - but in the cooler months.
Great place and big enough for our family to all be together and yet have some privacy when needed. Had some ac issues but was taken care of immediately by owners. We would come back again for the home in a second but the Palm Springs no music outdoors rule is way too excessive. The irony is that you are staying in a home that honors music and musicians but can’t play any music on your phone or with a speaker at any time of day. It is a PS issue and not the owners but they have to enforce it and they do! It’s a shame because we are a responsible family but it comes with the territory. Other than that it is a great stay!
We stayed at the gorgeous Mercury Palms for my Dad’s 70th birthday. The house was in a perfect location and had plenty of room for our party of 12 ranging in age from 5-70yrs old. The bedrooms were all large and spacious and each had their own private outdoor area. The only bummer was the noise ordinance restricted us from playing music outside and from using the outdoor TV. We still had a great time and will definitely be back!
Enjoyed all the amenities this home offers. Great communication with the property owner. Mountain views galore conveniently located near retail and restaurants.
We loved our stay in this house. It felt cozy and yet spacious enough for all 7 of us. Pool area is great. Spacious backyard - great for dogs to run around. The bar/pool table room was so fun to have. Kitchen is super well equipped, dining room was perfectly sized for our group. Loved our walks through neighborhood. Communication with property managers was fantastic. We'll be back for sure!
The house is in a great location. Lots of privacy around outdoor areas. Plenty of house space for a large group. Will definitely be checking this place first for my next trip to Palm Springs.
Everything about the home was simply lovely. Perfect for my party of 10 people. 6 adults and and 4 children. House is very spacious. Comfy beds and beautiful views. We enjoyed cooking and hanging in the pool. Very peaceful and great!!
A huge thank you to Mark for hooking us up last minute when our other Vrbo cancelled the day before at 2350 Farrell after booking 6 months prior. This home was sooooo much more than we could have asked for and the area is beautiful! Close to everything to walk, bike or a quick Uber. We had 5 couples and all rooms were huge and comfortable with en-suite. Everything you need is at your finger tips including pool toys, music piping through every room, a steam shower, hot tub and pool room! When we ran out of a few things, Mark was available immediately and super accommodating on our last day when we needed flexibility! Definitely would stay here again or any property owned by these guys!
