Great place to stay

Place was clean and had a wonderful ocean view. Elevators worked and beach was a short walk. Parking was easy. We took advantage of ice chest , box fans, beach towels and chairs that were left in condo for our use. Check in and out was a breeze. Would highly recommend this to family and friends .

Great View and Location

Loved the location as right across the street from John's Pass. Very secure. Views of the sunset were spectacular. Beach not crowded and easy to get to the mainland for shopping and biking.

Great location

This was a nice condo on the 4th floor. Great location, one of just a few units that are actually ocean front and is right across the street from Johns pass boardwalk. The water pressure in the shower is extremely low when the toilet had been flushed or a sink being used. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be back again next year.

Don't pass on this one!

This perfectly placed condo has everything you need for a relaxing vacation on the beach. The view from the balcony is amazing as you can see the pool, the beach, the bay, and of course, the sunsets. The staff keeps the common areas clean and organized. The condo offers beach chairs and beach towels so if you fly in, you don't have to purchase. Plenty of space for a young family, girls getaway, or couples. Lots of lunch and dinner options right across the street. I would rent again in a minute.

Beautiful View from our balcony

The condo had a beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen was nice. The only downside was we were next to the elevator which was very slow and people would wait and make lots of noise outside our door. Garbage shoot was close to our room too. Luckily we weren’t in our room too much.

Amazing stay for couples

The property was perfectly described and did not disappoint. Amazing beach/ocean views. Brand new appliances were a plus . Minor issues : the supply of basics ; toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and salt and pepper were either not their at all or on the last leg. We supplied them but felt that should have been included.Maintenance of property is impeccable. Elevator was out of service on day one - but we got our work out ! Lol

We had an amazing stay ! Beautiful sunsets, and views of the Gulf! Couldn’t beat either ! Location was amazing ! Once we arrived we didn’t drive anywhere ! Everything was within walking distance ! Only disappointment was the floors- they were not cleaned well, and couldn’t walk around bare foot. We look forward to hopefully coming back in 2024 !

Winter getaway

We had a great experience once again with this agency and our VRBO hosts! First, they were more than accommodating when our flight got bumped up by one day. They easily were able to add a night to our reservation. A week before our arrival we were informed that the unit (in this listing) was undergoing some renovations and the unit wouldn’t be ready in time for our arrival. Fortunately they were able to upgrade our reservation for a condo in Treasure Island. It definitely suited us well and offered not only more room, but an opportunity to explore a new area. We truly enjoyed our trip but want all who visit to be aware that the area is still undergoing a LOT of work post hurricane. We urge visitors to have patience and to show your appreciation for those who are working to bring the area back. It is still beautiful and our favorite place on Earth and we look forward to our next trip!

A Great Place To Stay

The condo was great! Right on the beach. The 4th floor views were spectacular. The condo was larger than we expected. Full kitchen with everything you need. Everything you need for the beach is there - 2 umbrellas, 4 beach chairs, lots of sand toys. The pool was wonderful. Pool man was there every morning to make sure all was good to go for the day. There are a dozen or so restaurants across the street. Several bars also. Publix is just a short drive up up the road. Treasure Island is just down the road. We had a great vacation and will be back!

A great location, but filthy accommodation

This condo is right on the ocean and across from John's Pass. We were excited about that. However, the building is tired and dingy. The unit is unsanitary and lackluster. To start on a positive note, they did update the countertops in the kitchen which is nice, the sitting/tv area is fine, and the balcony and balcony furniture is fine. The floors in the condo were filthy. We had to wipe our children's feet before bed or putting on their shoes if they walked barefoot anywhere in the condo - so gross! The walls, wood work, doors, and cabinetry in the bedroom and bathroom are disgusting beyond words. I was nearly in tears when we walked in. I would never let my kids bath in the bathtub, we didn't let anything touch the bathroom countertops, and I had to put down paper towels on the nightstand AFTER cleaning them myself because I was just disgusted. I even found candy wrappers next to one of the beds. On top of that, the sheets on one of the beds were not cleaned - they were full of crumbs, hair, and particles from the dirty floor. WE had to strip it and put on new sheet we found in the closet. Writing all of this grosses me out beyond words. I feel horrible my family and I had to stay there for three nights - never again. The cherry on top was that check-in was at 4PM, but the cleaning lady was not out of there until after 5PM. I am not sure what she was doing all of that time because she certainly wasn't cleaning the place. Very disappointing.

Great property, loved the view, plenty of restaurants and things to do in the area! Location is prime. Awesome amenities, & enjoyed the pool for December. I stayed here with my boyfriend and 3 year old for Christmas and we had a blast! The place could use some updates; mattresses, bed frames, kitchen fan and ceiling, paint ceiling, smart tv for bedroom. On our last day we went to the beach way before check out, came back and the code had changed before we could get any of our belongings out. I left my watch and phone in the room so I had no way of contacting our owners of the exact unit. Very frustrating and disappointing. My son had no shoes on, I had to pee, & the property manager at the sandy shores building was extremely rude. She claimed she did not have the owners contact information or itrips. Thankfully we had our rental car key and went down the road to itrips building but no one was there and all the lights were off. It was extremely frustrating as we had a flight to catch and no way of getting back in our room. We contacted itrips only to get a voicemail. Overall I think the property is great but there needs to be owner contact info at the sandy shores property management office (even though they state they’re not affiliated with them) in case of emergency, fire or lock out. I don’t believe the woman at the desk of Sandy shores property management was being truthful when she said she didn’t have Liz’s # or way of contact. We eventually got in hours later. Baffling.
