Great vacation rental

Everything was exactly as advertised. The condo was quiet and very, very clean. The property manager took care of everything from arranging transportation to giving us a tour of the property and securing nearby excursions. They have a team of ladies that come by to clean and they do an amazing job. They're attention to detail is military inspection level. We had a great time. Thank you.

Perfect location and it's very safe

The property is exactly as shown in the pictures and this property is kept absolutely spotless! Having some health issues made the location very important to me, I needed everything as close as possible to walk to and you can not get better than this! The beach is about 3 mins away, there are 3 places for groceries and about a dozen restaurants all within 10-15 min walk. Mine was a long term stay and my 1 month turned into a 2 month stay. This is the start of my 2nd month and I may not want to leave at all LOL

Several issues managed well by site personnel

- pictures make it look more grand than it is - pool is a wading pool only - water smells of Sulphur - cannot drink it - lost electricity for cooling and water on two occasions during stay - water is on well with electric pump, pool pump electric so did not work - water brown and unusable on two occasions due to outages - pool pump not working for several days causing debris buildup So several issues during our stay which was VERY disruptive. On a positive note the locale personnel, Jackie and Leon, did try their best to remedy the deficiencies. Unfortunately, we would not return to The Sanctuary.

Bill, we certainly regret the intermittent disruption of water during 1-2 days of your stay with us. As you know, the entire Bavaro/Los Corales area was impacted on two different instances by a nearby transformer outage. Although The SANCTUARY at Los Corales did lose a water pump as a result, other accommodations in the area fared much worse with some losing total electrical power which meant no A/C, no lights, no WiFi, no fans, no TV, and no water. As the Electric Company's transformer outage was outside of our direct control or resolution, each guest at The SANCTUARY was offered the option of relocation. Each of our guests, including your group of 4, declined the relocation offer and chose to stay. Sometimes, especially in a developing country, things happen which are outside of anyone's control and you do the best you can, given the situation. During the water disruption, SANCTUARY guests were provided with unlimited bottled water and toilet flushes, as needed. In addition, our team of professionals worked non-stop to assure that water was restored as quickly as possible. For those who may consider visiting in the future, please note that the pool at The SANCTUARY is a small "plunge pool". However, SANCTUARY guests have access to the much larger swimming pool just a short 1 minute walk away and within the gated community. Also, no water in the Dominican Republic is considered potable. Only bottled water should be used for drinking and cooking.

Simply Amazing!!!

The Sanctuary truly exceeded all of our expectations!!! The Sanctuary is truly a gem, the pictures do not lie! The Sanctuary is immaculate and its decor beautiful, we felt right at home. The apartment is very spacious, modern and did I mention spotless, with all the amenities that you can possibly need. Right outside the front door of the apartment is the beautiful pool, that we spent many nights sitting by enjoying the night air. The apartment was in a great location with restaurants, the beach and a spot to book your excursions just minutes away(Melvin was very helpful). The locals were very friendly and we always felt safe being in a guard gated community. Napolean, Jacquelyn and Marilus were fantastic hosts, from the time of booking up to the last day of our stay. They arranged transportation back and forth to the airport for us (Pedro was great), they provided the prices of excursions that we were interested in and were available every time we called them. They all have become apart of my extended family and we can not wait to return! If you're looking for awesome hospitality and a home away from home, this is definitely the place to stay!! Très beau séjour de 5 semaines.

Nous avons habité le condo du 16 janvier au 20 février 2023. Endroit très propres (ménage 2 fois par semaine).Jackie, la gérante est très à l’écoute des besoins dès notre arrivée. Les directives nous sont présentées clairement et elle trouve des solutions à tout. Le building de 6 unités de condo est à quelques minutes de marche de la plage et aussi pas plus de 10 minutes des services tels que resto et marché. Une suggestion: Un BBQ communautaire au 6 unités pourrait être un plus. La cuisine munie d’un poêle au gaz n’est pas munie de ventilation. Merci à tout le personnel pour avoir redu notre premier séjour en condo, une expérience mémorable. Nous y retournerons sans hésitation! P.S. Nous avons invité des amis et de la famille à venir se joindre à nous durant nos 5 semaines. Les procédures d’autorisation sont rigoureuses pour assurer la tranquillité de tous les occupants.

Wonderful Condo

Stayed in this beautiful condo for our first time in Punta Cana and we felt right at home. The place is simply amazing. Jacquelyn and Napoleon were great hosts, very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. The condo is very close to stores, beach, restaurants, everything is within walking distance. Love this place and would love to go back for our next vacation.
