I’m not sure you could find a better spot in Waikiki. The view was amazing. The condo was spacious and well laid out. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I hope we can visit again one day.

It was definitely a pleasure to host Suzette! Great guest, easy to work and communicate with. Very respectful of our unit and space. We look forward to another opportunity to be able to host Suzette again soon. Mahalo for Choosing Castle Waikiki Shore as your home away from home accommodations. Aloha.

GREAT LOCATION
WE HAD SOME ISSUES WITH PLUMBING WE WERE UN ABLE TO USE ONE RESTROOM WHEN WE ASKED FOR ASSISTANCE NO ONE RESPONDED TILL FEW DAYS LATER
This was the perfect place for our family of 6. The views were amazing. There’s sliding doors and a balcony in every room with beach views. Everything we needed was in the fully equipped kitchen. The in unit washer and dryer was a plus being that we were on the beach. The area is great. There’s a lot of places to visit within walking distance. The only negative thing is the parking garage. I did read that smaller cars are recommended. Being that we were a large group, we needed a large SUV. Don’t get me wrong, we were grateful for the garage but it was tight getting into and out of the tight space with a larger vehicle. Other than that, we enjoyed everything about this place. Would definitely recommend staying here. This is our place to stay anytime we visit in the future.
This unit has amazing panoramic views over the ocean- you can see sunrise over Diamond Head and watch the sunset over the ocean. The location is convenient for tourist activities. The unit is large with an updated kitchen and baths. The washer and dryer work well. The beds are comfortable, but the pull out sofa sleeper sags a bit at the head. The breeze is amazing thanks to all the windows, but the AC units work well too. The unit is well furnished, but could use a little deep cleaning of the cloth dining chairs and baseboards, etc. The dining table on the lanai is large, but the center portion is rusted metal from the salt - just needs a little spray paint. The parking is TIGHT - so be sure to bring a small vehicle. The building is very secure, with easy beach access and convenient food options. The view of fireworks from the adjacent resort on Fridays is unmatched. Staff on site were friendly and responsive. There is a little noise from beach-goers due to the echo through the cement buildings, but it was not terrible unless the drunk tourists visited the beach in the early morning hours.

Parking is a nightmare
We stayed here for a week in october, and booked through VRBO. I will say that the pictures of our condo on the listing were truthful and the views were exceptional, but the disappointments in this place far outweighed the beauty of the unit and the location.
CONS
1. This is NOT an accessible building. There are no disabled parking stalls. Parking is an unholy nightmare. The stalls are microscopic and barely fit a minivan. We struggled with getting our wheelchair family member in and out of the car on a daily basis. We asked for a new stall and that wasn't much better, in fact it was constantly blocked on all sides by construction vehicles and random people parking without permits. We even had someone in our stall more than once. It was so challenging to get in and out of the parking slot, along with loading our wheelchair family member that we DREADED leaving the condo with the car. This was a huge failing of the building and when we confronted the staff many times, their attitudes were flippant. Being disabled didn't affect them one bit. And there are additional fees for parking, almost $300 for the week.
2. The entry for the unit is right at the corner of a stoplight with a constant parade of pedestrians. It is very challenging to even turn in or out.
3. The traffic in the area is horrendous. It can take a long time to get anywhere. There are many luxury stores near by within walking distance, and several ABC stores for souvenirs. There are only a handful of restaurants an

Checked out immediately upon check in
This property has the beautiful views of Waikiki beach as pictured in the listing photos, but upon entering the unit, it was clear that it had been tidied but not cleaned. There was sand everywhere, counters were filthy, and the matted area rug in the living room was disgusting. The bathrooms were similarly tidy, but not clean. The condo offered to have housecleaning come on our next day, but we couldn’t stomach staying there as it was for one night for the price we paid. Additionally, the beds were small and uncomfortable, with stained upholstered headboards and need repairs on A/C units. Overall this place could be amazing, but falls short in a few major ways.

The view is incredible from all the rooms and balconies.
The four beds shown are all full size beds which are too small for two people to sleep on unless they are kids. There was five of us and we each took a bed and one was on the couch. Three of the five are over six feet tall. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the beds. Since it is right on the beach it will be noisy with people on the boardwalk below you. You hear the crashing of the waves which is really nice.
First time in Honolulu but willing to bet this is the best place to stay! The wraparound panoramic view is unbelievable and totally worth it. The amount of sliding glass doors and the ability to immerse yourself was far beyond our expectations. Enjoying your downtime on a large balcony with the beautiful sea and shoreline beneath you was an experience like none other. After researching many places to stay, the amount of space you get plus the amazing view, I have a hard time believing there’s anywhere else that compares. The full kitchen enabled us to have a nice breakfast each day before heading out, along with having drinks and snacks on hand. There were four of us who shared the condo for eight days and having two full bathrooms plus the washer and dryer was yet another luxury. Friendly staff, great location and plenty of things within walking distance including pickup locations for two of our excursions. Look no further, you’ve found the one! Will definitely return some day! Mahalo!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Castle Waikiki Shore. Our condo had the perfect ocean front views and the beach was accessible within minutes (or a quick elevator ride downstairs). The property is well-maintained and comfortable. We absolutely loved the openness of the property (lots of sliding glass doors) so the ocean can be heard at all times. We would recommend a hundred times over!

The view is what makes this property fantastic. It’s large and spacious with lots of light. However the beds are extremely uncomfortable with very odd sheets and lots of the electrical outlets looked unsafe or didn’t work.

View is worth the rent
The view is outstanding! We spent majority of our time on the balcony, watching the sunset. Diamondhead Mountain is just to the south and you get a lovely view of that as well. The Cityscape is to the northeast with a backdrop of the mountainside.
The kitchen is nice and overall everything is roomy. The dining area, living room and two bedrooms all look out to the ocean.
The not so good: little attention, if any is made to the paint, floors, bathrooms, linens...etc. One of the blinds would not open (broken by previous renter). Anywhere there was a chip or scratch on a wall, it was "touched up" with a different shade of paint. One of the bed frames fell apart once we laid on it. It was missing a bolt. The guest bath flooded with water when you took a shower, so you stand in your own dingy water. The master bathroom shower head had to be turned to the side or it would wet the outside floor. The sofa bed needs two people to put it back together. The bedroom lights didn't work properly and the outlets were damaged.
Overall, the location is perfect. The staff is very nice. I really never heard from the owner when I messaged them, but there were no major issues. The items listed as "bad" are tolerable. But if they were tended to, it would make this place a lot better. We would definitely return.
Loved our stay!! We were blown away by the views, the location and all of the comforts!
Our stay was absolutely seamless. From check in to check out. The views, the location, the restaurants, the beach, the luxurious comforts and everything about it were just right for our group. We will be back!
The condo has stunning views of the water! The location is great and there are lots of shops and restaurants to choose from within walking distance. The condo was quiet with only the ocean sounds to hear at night.
