What a beautiful and private one-bedroom guesthouse! We loved everything about our stay. The location was perfect, the space was clean and comfortable, and the shower, bed, and pillows were exceptionally cozy. The owners were wonderful, great communication and very accommodating. We truly appreciated everything about this place.

The place is warm and welcoming and very comfortable. There are plenty of kitchen utensils, and well equipped. The host was accommodating and responded quickly to my messages. It is a nice and quiet location.

Great alternative to hotel

This is a very nice apartment, fully equipped, over a garage. Quiet, comfortable, clean, and very roomy. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep so could be difficult for people with limited mobility or heavy luggage. Will be back on future business trips to the Santa Maria area.

A hidden gem

A big place for one person or two. Impressive kitchen & bathroom. Roomy and well appointed. Has a dineing table for two since it was not created for large parties. If you want to cook the kitchen will serve you well. One can see the care taken in the choice of fixtures & appliances used in the location. Yes, the wooden stairs are steep and could use a bit more light.

We found the perfect place.

We stayed for 6 days and had a wonderful time. Our son is stationed at Vandenberg Space Force Base so this was a perfect location. We were easily able to visit the base, Santa Barbara, Solvang, Lompoc (where we were able to see a Space X launch), and a beautiful drive up to see the beaches along Hwy 1.It was a special surprise also to see that nearby is an airport they had a V-22 Osprey doing drills. The location is fairly quiet and close to shopping, if needed. The apartment was very clean, a full kitchen, and included several amenities such as dishes, pots and pans, washer/dryer combo with laundry soap provided, Keurig coffee maker (K-cups were provided). They even thought of the little things such as salt/pepper, tin foil, plastic wrap, teas etc .... The bed was very comfortable. We slept very well.This is a spacious 1 bedroom apartment located above a garage. Owners are on site, but to be honest, we barely saw them, so privacy was NOT an issue. The owner communicates very well with any questions that are needed. We were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend it. We hope to stay again one day.
