Family Friendly Apartment For 6 Persons In A Quiet Village Called Pitsidia

Artemis apartments is a modern apartment situated in a quiet village named Pitsidia, near Matala the famous hippie village on Crete. Our apartment is fully equiped with all the things you need on holidays for comfort. You can cook, wash and have your towels ready in your apartment. And if you like to have a bbq with your family or friends this is also possible on the terrace or in the garden of the first apartment. The apartment is situated near the sea (only 900 metres) with a big beautiful sandy beach. This beach can be reached by fee,t car, motorbike or bycicle. Of course you can also rent a car in one of the nearby agencies in Kalamaki, Pitsidia or Matala.
In the village Pitsidia you can find mini markets, a bakery and even a pharmacy and a doctor. Also going out in Pitsidia is really nice especially on the square where they often have live music. And if you want more entertainment Matala (3 km away) is a good option to enjoy yourself. You will definitely enjoy your stay here.

Good and quite position in Pitisdia

The house is well equipped and quite. The furniture is not properly greek ! You should love cats because the house and the neighbourhood it's full of cats !

Wohnung in Strandnähe mit familiärer Athmosphäre

Die Betreuer der Wohnung haben von Anfang an mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden. Auch das zu späte Eintreffen unsererseits wurde mit einem Lächeln quitiert. Die Wohnung selbst hat eine angenehme Lage am Ortsrand mit einem schönen Weg an den Strand. Auch für Ausflüge liegt die Wohnung sehr günstig. Die Frühstücksterasse ist sehr schön ausgerichtet, so dass man immer in der Sonne frühstücken kann. Alles in allem auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

sehr schöne neue Wohnung mit liebevollen Vermietern in idyllischer Lage

Wir waren Ende September für 10 Tage hier. Die Wohnung wird erst seit diesem Jahr vermietet und ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Die Möbel sind entsprechend neu und sauber. Neben Bettwäsche sind jede Menge Handtücher auch für den Strand vorhanden und auch in der Küche ist alles, was man braucht. Auch Seife, Duschgel und Shampoo muß man nicht mitnehmen. Die Vermieter wohnen im Untergeschoß, sprechen unter anderem Deutsch und sind dem entsprechend gut erreichbar und haben immer ein offenes Ohr für Wünsche und Fragen. Schon vor der Anreise haben sie telefonisch Kontakt aufgenommen und uns gefragt, was sie für den ersten Tag für uns einkaufen sollen. Wir sind so komplett über das erste Wochenende gekommen. Kleine Sonderwünsche wurden ebenfalls sofort erfüllt, Tipps zur Umgebung haben wir ebenfalls bekommen und sie haben sogar Kontakt zu anderen Urlaubern hergestellt, die schon jahrelang in dem Ort Urlaub machen und uns etwas herumgeführt haben. Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig am Rand des kleinen Ortes, unmittelbar an der Strasse zum Komos-Beach. Dort ist man mit dem Auto innerhalb von 3 min. Es gibt gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Man hat die Auswahl zwischen einem Strandabschnitt mit zwei kleinen Lokalen direkt am Strand mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen und einem sehr wenig besuchten, an dem auch textilfrei gebadet werden kann. Strand und Meer sind sehr sauber und es gibt auch einige natürliche Schattenplätze. Mehrere Lokale und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten können von der Wohnung aus bequem zu Fuß erreicht werden. An zwei Abenden gibt es dort auch Live-Musik. Noch mehr Unterhaltung wird im benachbarten Matala geboten, das auch in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreicht werden kann. Für uns war es zusammenfassend ein sehr entspannter und rundum gelungener Urlaub. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Why they chose this property

This property we bought 30 years ago when we fell in love with Crete. We bought this because it was situated in a pitoresque quiet village named Pitsidia and it was near the sea. We always enjoy staying here because of the quiet place and the nice view on the sea.

What makes this property unique

The appartments are situated in a quiet environment near the sea but also near the village Pitsidia where you can go out for dinner and attend live music. Also Komos beach is nearby with his big beach and wonderful and clean sea.
If you like more going out in bars you can also go to Matala only 3 kilometres away from our appartment.
