About this property

The Corn Crib Cabin at Green Frog Farm

Experience rural West Tennessee in an original log cabin on a berry farm. The home is part of Green Frog Farm Cabins, a settlement of restored historic buildings.
Our newest cabin is inspired by a rustic hunting lodge or fishing shack. It's an intimate space full of character. The front porch boasts one of the most striking views at Green Frog across the lower pond with the cotton gin and agricultural fields beyond. The main hall has a queen bed at one end and hand-hewn bunkbeds at the other end. The kitchen and bathroom is off of the main space. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Relax in the quiet charm of a slower pace of life. Reconnect with history without the distractions of internet or television.

The cabin has central air & heat, fireplace, porches and outdoor grill. It's near a pond and catch & release fishing is allowed. It's located two miles from West TN Safari Park.

A free self-guided tour of the historic grounds of Green Frog Farm is included with your stay.

Excellent Stay at Green Frog Cabin

We happened onto this property after another Vrbo booking fell through, and we truly lucked out! We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay at the Green Frog Cabins. The grounds are lovely, with areas to walk around. We enjoyed the arboretum and renovated historic log buildings. The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and well-furnished. We certainly hope to return again!

Dr. Freeman has been collecting and restoring historical buildings and artifacts in West Tennessee for 30 years. If you visit the cabin please take some time to see the other unique sites nearby, including a working Linotype machine and a cotton gin from 1910. Dr. Freeman lives in a log house nearby with his wife, Nancy. Their daughter Krista lives in her grandmother's ancestral home on the farm and manages the wedding venue and cabin rentals. She has renovated the cabins with beautiful interiors and landscaping to capture the rustic charm in these historic structures.
