About this property

This is a wonderful beach cottage built in 1928 and located at the South end of Tybee Island. It has everything you need for your 'home away from home' and it is just 200 steps to South Beach. Right around the corner is the Back River and its beaches. Two fabulous screened porches to relax and take your cares away.

Downstairs porch has a dining table and chairs that seats 6 with one sofa and lots of wicker chairs. Upstairs has several chairs to relax and enjoy your morning coffee. Listen closely to hear the sounds of the ocean. Rent a kayak and go over to Little Tybee or rent a bike and take in all the beauty of Tybee.

Somewhere in Time and Somewhere in Time Too is just a couple of blocks from Tybrisa Street, the Strand and the Pier and close to restaurants and shopping. You can walk everywhere on the South End. Easy, short walk to the beach and the back river. The screened in porch is a wonderful place to relax after a long day at the beach. There is an outdoor shower to wash off the sand from the beach after a day in the sun.

This listing is for both units: Somewhere In Time is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath downstairs unit that sleeps 6 AND Somewhere in Time Too is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath upstairs unit that sleeps 6. These properties may be rented separately, if interested.

No events with a higher number of guests than the occupancy of the house are permitted and there is a minimum age requirement of 25 for renters.

Overall great stay. Good time to visit. Rented Somewhere in time two (both units). Location to the beach was ideal. Would have preferred better information on what to bring. Eg. asked abt coffee. Was told drip coffee maker. Both units had both drip and k-cups. Over packed.

Bachelorette party

The location of this property was perfect. Close walking distance to the beach, shops, bars, and restaurants. Great amount of space for 10 of us. Everyone loved it. We didn’t get to use much of the outdoor space since it was so hot outside, but the deck space and backyard looked very cute.

Visit to Tybee

We had a lovely time! Nice yard for grilling and corn hole. Short walk to the beach and to nearby shops and restaurants. Quiet location for the most part. Comfortable accommodations. I think Tybee Island is growing on me, and I'm sure we'll want to return next year!
