Decent place but needs some TLC

We chose this home based upon the location and the pictures. When we arrived, we were a bit disappointed in the overall appearance of the gounds. It was definitely more run down than the pictures portrayed. The entire complex needs some paint and lots of TLC. The house itself was fine, but it is advertised as OK for long term guests and I would have to disagree with that. There's no washing machine, iron or ironing board, not even a full length mirror in the entire house. We stayed for five nights and had to rent a motorbike and drive to get some laundry done. Overall we enjoyed our stay but if we were to come back to the area, we would probably choose a higher end hotel. However, if the owner put a little money into adding a few amenities AND the property grounds improved, we would possibly come back. The staff was great though and they were very helpful whenever we needed them.

My husband and I bought this house together hoping to come back to retire here some day. We currently live in the US and our girls are still in schools. Since are still several years away from our goal, we would love to open our house to share with other families.

Why they chose this property

We love the island view from our beach. Plenty of local restaurants nearby.

What makes this property unique

Access to the secluded beach, very peaceful.
