Beautiful home and location…peaceful surroundings but close enough to Lexington to satisfy shopping/entertainment needs. Excellent communication from host. And host was awesome in addressing our questions and getting us firewood for the outdoor fire pit. Would suggest adding a note to the listing that check in info is usually shared the day of check in.Will definitely hope to stay here again the next time we are in the Lexington area.
I brought family to visit my son at UK. This home is a lovely getaway surrounded by horse pastures. It was clean and a great place to relax and spend time with family. The beds are comfortable and we had plenty of space. I reached out about a beeping smoke alarm and received a quick response with replacing the battery. Would definitely stay here again.
This place is out in the middle of horse country. The drive is absolutely beautiful. This house is in the middle of a horse farm. It is very peaceful. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed more. Waking up to the view of the hills in the background, the pasture, the pond and the horses. So relaxing. The house was spacious. Lots of room to relax. If you are a coffee drinker, you will want to bring your own coffee. There was a bit of decaf available, that was it. That would have been the only thing would have made the morning even better. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. The manager there in the window kept a good eye on things ; Very friendly kitty.
Was beautiful surroundings, fast check in with our own gate code. Layout was very nice with our group just wish we could have stayed longer. Will keep this on our list for future stays.
I'm not sure if this is made entirely clear on the VRBO website, but this house is in the middle of a working horse farm, which my family and I thought was really great. It's beautiful, quiet, interesting (horses get walk by, graze in the grass at the back of the house, etc.). In general, it was a unique and wonderful experience.
