Dainty and cute! The owners were extremely friendly and we were even able to find fresh eggs!!!! We weren’t here long, but it was perfect for our stay!
We came to town for a family wedding at a nearby venue. This place was perfectly located between Baker and Crestview and was a very quaint and relaxing environment. We enjoyed our stay a lot!
Very cozy and clean 3/1, super quiet at the end of the road, kitchen well stocked and furnishings and decor take you back to a simpler time:). Beds slept great and lighting was so ornate and well thought out!
Highly recommend this stay! It is incredibly quiet, clean, comfortable, and homey. Loved the friendly animals of all shapes and sizes available for petting. Comfortable beds, great water pressure, and plenty of hot water for two people to take full showers. Lots of blankets throughout the home, which is such a nice touch as someone who likes to wrap up in a blanket. Truly fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Definitely will rebook next time we are in town!
I can not praise and compliment this host and amazing place enough. We stayed 7/22-7/29 and to say we loved it and won’t miss it is far from true. The place was perfect. Beautiful inside and the land around it, so nice. Visiting and feeding the horses and goats daily was something my youngest and I loved. We built a bond with the dog that watched the land, Sam the dog is what we called him:-) he was a constant for us and honestly we miss him already! The host was a life saver when my rental car got a flat and she filled it so I was able to get it back to swap for a new one. They have a play area for the kids including a small zip line and trampoline. Thank you for a great vacation spot and we will def be coming back. Thank you so much! And Sam the dog, we will see you again:-)
If you enjoy animals, this is the place to stay. Cynthia is a very responsive and gracious host. The host dog - Sam - is a very good boy. He’ll greet you when you arrive and sees you out when you leave. Loves to play fetch. The horses were also very friendly. The house was clean and comfortable with great K cups available for morning coffee. The rain on the metal roof in the morning makes you want to stay in bed all morning. Thank you all!
The property has a cottage feel to it. It was great for what we needed given the closeness to my family and it did have quite a few amenities we appreciated like the full kitchen. I would highly encourage you to bring your own pillow if you can. Most seem older and very very flat. I don’t know if we could have done a longer stay given the mattresses on the beds weren’t very supportive. The internet is also kind of slow and our Verizon cell service was spotty. The owners live right next door so they were on top of anything we needed. They did a great job of baby proofing for us (at our request) before we got there and even left cabinet latches for us to use in the kitchen. The central air conditioner is *chefs kiss* awesome! My son liked seeing the horses out. The water and ice in the fridge doesn’t work but they did have ice cube trays filled up in the freezer for us (something I missed the first day or two being there lol)
This charming home was a joy to stay in. Close to my family. Thank You Cynthia! Loved seeing the farm animals out the back every morning. Looking forward to my next visit to Baker.
