Nestled just steps away from Big Bear Snow Play and across the street from Wyatt's. Hillside Hideaway is the ideal spot if you're visiting for Oktoberfest. Our charming cabin features a spacious deck with an outdoor dining table, BBQ grill, gas firepit, and Adirondack chairs—perfect for enjoying the fresh mountain air.

Inside, you can cozy up by the wood-burning fireplace, stream your favorite shows with our free Wi-Fi and Smart TVs, or sip cocoa while soaking in the view from the master bedroom balcony.

Whether you're cooking in the fully equipped kitchen or grilling on the deck, there's plenty of space to gather with loved ones and savor the mountain atmosphere. The spacious backyard is perfect for stargazing, making s’mores, or simply unwinding after a day of adventure in Big Bear.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has a queen size bed, and the third bedroom has a twin daybed & a pull-out twin bed. Living room sofa can be pulled out to create a mega-couch for lounging and sleeping.

The downstairs bathroom has a full bathtub, and the upstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower.

In our kitchen, you’ll find everything you need to prepare and enjoy delicious meals, including a full set of dinnerware, wine glasses, silverware, pots and pans, a blender, stand mixer, and a variety of cooking utensils. From oven mitts to placemats, we’ve got you covered so you can focus on relaxing and creating memories. Feel free to use the dishwasher to make cleanup a breeze after meals, and take advantage of the full washer and dryer available for your convenience.

Other things to note

Mountain Wildlife: Being in the heart of nature means you might encounter local wildlife like ants, spiders, chipmunks, and sometimes even bears or coyotes. This is all part of the mountain experience! While we have measures in place to minimize their presence, storing food in sealed containers is always a good idea.
