Looking for the perfect family getaway? Sunset Peninsula is your place! Incredible destination for friends and family looking for both relaxation and adventure. This 4 bedroom / 2 bath retreat sleeps 13. Only 35 minutes from Auburn/Opelika. Great for school breaks, summer vacations, Auburn events (football, graduation, rush, etc.).

The spacious indoor and outdoor space allows for a peaceful getaway. Watch the sunrise and sunset and view the amazing wild life that Lake Martin has to offer - ducks, turtles, fish, geese, and even bald eagles. Local roads are paved and great for running/walking. Nature at it's finest draws in both adults and children.

I wouldn’t change anything about the house or grounds. My party consisted of only my girlfriend and me. So we had lots and lots of room.The view of the lake was beautiful from inside the den through lots of windows or outside on the dock. Sunsets were really pretty almost every evening. We even caught a nice catfish from the dock.

Memories at Sunset Peninsula

Wonderful place to enjoy the water and beautiful views in a serene quiet setting. It is near town which makes it easy to get provisions and grab something to eat. The property is level with no steps and directly on the water. The owners are very accommodating. Our next year’s visit is already booked!

Perfect Family Getaway

This was the perfect place for our family. The space the house provides in the living area was outstanding. The views were spectacular. The outside water toys were a hit with EVERYONE. We took 2 boats with us and had ample dock space for two. Host was fantastic to work with, The entire family has said “this is our new spot for our annual family LM trip”. The grands said “this IS the new Waterhouse”.

Great Thanksgiving
