April 2016 Stay

We love the Castle Villa and have stayed there several times. But the mattress on the double bed in the bunk room is totally shot. We put some blankets under the mattress but it is so soft that didn't help. It's such a nice place, but that bed will be a deal breaker when we come to Ocracoke again. We usually come with 2 other couples, no children. With kids I wouldn't feel so strongly, but a week on that bed for a couple is so uncomfortable. There's room for a queen, which would be so nice. All said, we think the unit is mostly perfect!
