So the owner responded very well and communication was top notch. Buuuuut the place isn’t quite what the pictures depicted. The place needs a really good cleaning the walls are filthy and the floors are cracked with loose tile. The beds are very comfortable and the place was suitable for the night we were in town, but if you plan to stay multiple nights I would recommend somewhere else. There is near by parking and great food/drink places around but still a hike to time square. Probably won’t stay again unless they scrub the place down real well.

The apartment is not suitable for accommodating five people nor for long staying.. Small crowdy and noisy. There are floor tiles that creak with every step. The water pressure in the shower is very weak. The bathroom sink faucet is not sized correctly for the sink.There is no space to store clothes or suitcases.The reading light in the bedroom is not working, and neither are some of the electrical outlets in the apartment.There is no sound insulation within the building against noise from neighbors or the stairwell. And although it seems like there are 2 separate bedrooms and a leaving room, apparentely there is no separation. Please check carefully before you make a choice.

Brilliant location, great host contact

We would very happily stay here again. Contact with the host as we arrived into JFK was good. Payment was taken prior to arrival and access details provided. Clean, lots of extra towels and bed linen for the sofa bed.

It was a short stay, but place was clean. It had four bottles of water in the fridge. Bathroom was very clean and had it enough shampoo and conditioner (we forgot ours) and plenty of towels. It had a properly working A/C. There was espresso coffee and nespresso machine for me to have my coffee in the morning. It was closed to restaurants and a market. The windows had shade. I felt comfortable and was able to watchTV without a hassle. The WiFi was fast. They even provided earplugs which they were no need to use. It was an wonderful experience overall.
