Hurricane Update:

The entire complex is built on pillars more than 20 feet off the ground. The condo sustained no damage, we have been accepting guests for several weeks, the pool has been completely drained, acid washed, refilled and we have installed a new pump, a new filter and all new equipment. The pool has never looked better, the beaches are open, the restaurants are open and the weather is fantastic.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
The Anna Maria Island Beach Palms 2B is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo that sleeps six with a view of the water from every room, high speed wireless internet, a boat and fishing dock, heated pool, 2 balconies west and east, 2 televisions and 2 parking spots. The east balcony directly over looks the Bay and fishing dock and is accessed by sliding glass doors off both the living room and primary bedroom with a King sized bed. The white sand beaches are 125 yards to the west.

Family vacay

We had a wonderful stay at the property. Upon arrival we realized the beach chairs were not in usable condition so we purchased our own. When Terry checked in with us to see how our stay was going we mentioned it to him and he reimbursed us for the chairs without any question. The property itself is clean and has a beautiful view of the bay where my 12 yo son went fishing everyday. It is a super short walk to the beach and we would definitely return again.

Wonderful condo and location!

We are very picky about where we stay and this condo has been updated beautifully! In addition, the bay view from the balcony is spectacular and you’re a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again!

Honeymoon get away

Me and my new wife went to a honeymoon at this point it was wonderful to stay at, A little bit of the floor was a little unclean but nothing overall that hurt the experience in the private beach. We had an amazing time in wood recommend this place!!

Great Place

We had a great time. The condo was clean and well stocked. You can sit in the living room and watch the boats go by and people fishing off the dock. Short walk to the beach and to restaurants and shops.

Amazing View

This unit was very clean & well cared for. The water view from the deck was so enjoyable & relaxing and seen a lot dolphins, birds, & boats. We found a lot of nice restaurants & plenty of shopping...and don't forget about the amazing beaches. Another great thing is the "free" trolley service that runs between Coquina Beach & Anna Maria.

Condo is great. Owner should put together a booklet with all instructions. He sent a text with info stuffed into one long paragraph. Info should be in outline format. Especially the cable tv info.

Terry was terrific to deal with on all communications !

I do suggest updating the back porch to be comparable to the other back porches We didn’t use it because it was not enticing Rest is unit was great thank you!!

Ok, but not great

Condo is in good location. Other then that nothing special. The beach equipment provided was terrible. Old camp beach chairs and broken umbrella need to be replaced. The couch in the living room was the most uncomfortable couch , stained and old. Garbage disposal and sink smelled The back deck is old and needs to be updated. Overall the location is good, and a good view of the sunrise

Quite location

Owners were great. Master shower was clogged and owner sent a repair man immediately. The building is old, but inside the condo, it looked like it had been renovated. It was extremely clean and decorated like Florida. We were a little concerned because our truck is large, we were afraid height wise it wouldn’t fit under the building in the assigned parking spots, but it wasn’t a problem. Loved having two parking spots reserved, used one for our rented golf cart. My only issue was the kitchen has minimal supplies. Can openers were both broken and knives will barely cut. Not that things were missing, it was just sparse items. You can tell it’s a rental as there are no personal touches. Regardless, the location is perfect and it’s very quite on the bay side. You can walk right across the street to the beach. Nice place

Great location, older, dated and worn - probably over priced

Fantastic location - walking distance from about anything you want to get to. Great water view from master and living room and good parking. Great water pressure in the showers! Less than 5 minute walk to the beach. The unit was clean, but the carpets were worn. Owner was accommodating. That's the good... here's the not so good... Unit was old and dated and it felt that way going in. Light in outside entry porch stays on all night and totally lights up the 2nd bedroom all night. Nothing you can do about it. Only 1 adult beach chair and 2 children's chairs - and there were no beach chairs "under the condo" as stated on the entry instructions. The pool only had sunlight for about 2 or 3 hours per day and was otherwise blocked by surrounding buildings and I'm going to guess that the pool heat was not working or simply falsely advertised. In comparison, the Tortuga (next door) was much newer and had a better pool location and had complimentary beach chairs and a private beach pergola on the beach in a designated area directly across the street (beach) from their facility - and you can stay at the Tortuga for less. Did this unit have everything you would want or need for a stay? Yes. Would I rent it again? Yes - but only if the Tortuga was booked.

Paradise!!!

We will definitely be returning to Anna Maria Island for a vacation, hopefully to this very same property. The property manager, Terry, has a wealth of knowledge about the island from attractions to restaurants. He is a polite and timely individual. As soon as payment was received he communicated everything we needed, there was no waiting or asking him to provide anything. The rental unit was immaculate. Everything inside was brand new, from appliances to flooring to bedding. Everything was fresh and new! The view of the bay was first rate. We watched the sunrise every morning from the balcony. Our kids were really impressed watching the draw bridge go up and down. They were even more excited when they spotted dolphins. You can even see the occasional fish jump. Outside the unit the property was well kept and neat, the unit comes with two parking spots, that doesn't hapen very often. The dock is great for boat watching or fishing. If you are into fishing, some charters will even pick you up dockside. The pool was warm and big enough so the kids aren't on top of each other. Deck chairs are also plentiful. The beach is easily accessible you can walk there in less than two minutes. The sand and swimming were perfect. Being where we were the beach wasn't crowded like at the more public sections. Withing ten minutes walk you are at historic bridge street. Gift shops and restaurant abound there. Go to the end of the pier and you can rent fishing rods and bait. My son and I spent a morning there caught more than a few fish and took some really nice pics :) Overall this was a great place to stay, would recommend to anyone with a family :)
