The house overall was very good. The area is an excellent place to visit. The kitchen needs something else other than yard sale reject pots and pans and the restroom in the middle of the house has a slight but consistent smell of urine. Even with these two issues we would stay here again. The farm and store at the bottom of the property was great to visit and the meat that was purchased was excellent

This cabin on the farm is absolutely beautiful! My friends and I stayed over the weekend for an ultra marathon and were shocked at how much room we had. The cabin as so much history and we absolutely LOVED being treated by the cows and the goats each morning. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful space with us!

The cabin was great. There was plenty of room for the thirteen of us. It was nice and clean. The beds were comfy. Lots of games for kids and adults. It was very enjoyable and relaxing to sit on the back. Porch and view the farm. The kids loved looking and talking with the animals. Would definitely book again. Thank You

My friends and I just had 1 night here but it was fantastic. The cabin was very unique with lots of space and cool passageways. Everything was on point on regard to cleanliness, communication, check in/out, etc. The farm animals in the surrounding area were really pleasant and made the stay awesome!

Little slice of blue ridge heaven. A picturesque view that accompanies a beautiful cabin. We sat in awe on the back porch and marveled at the open space. The house was more than comfortable and was perfect for our family. Thank you!

We had the best time at Surry Hill Farm! Tara was so responsive and accommodating! I suggest bringing slippers or house shoes to wear inside, we had a few splinters from the old floors, but all part of the experience. It is so peaceful and so beautiful, and our girls are already asking to go back!

Our family loved this cabin! It was a perfect spot for 7 adults and 3 kids. We were just minutes from The Farm Dobson and had a cozy place to stay once we were done with the festivities at the Farm. We will definitely back and will definitely stay longer next time! The kid friendly crafts and games and the secret passageway made it even more fun!

A fantastic log cabin farm house. Beautiful location and served our family well for our recent stay. We enjoyed the active farm surroundings with the livestock and was a great place for our family gathering with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces. Communication was great!

Everyone had a wonderful stay at this large, comfortable cabin. Three teenagers and three adults had plenty of space to spread out, and the property grounds were exceptional. We’d definitely stay again. Great for family gathering. Comfortable beds.

We found the cabin to be very neat. Liked the location and proximity to Mount Airy and local vineyards. Loved the cheese that the host had for sale at their farm store. Cabin had three different hvac units with no issues while we were there in December. Would really consider going back and doing a summer stay. We were 2 families with total of 5 children and it was plenty of space.

What a beautiful property! We had fun discovering the rooms and the secret closet to the next room. Kids loved seeing the baby goats. House has lots of period details that remind you of the age of the house.

Rustic Reunion Location

Rustic yet beautiful. Very roomy interior, spacious back deck, a wonderful yard for the kids to play in. A relaxing environment with barnyard animals roaming the fields surrounding the property. A glimpse of living in a log home 100 years ago.

Location was great,,, owners responded very quickly. The furnace, though, worked well in the great room and master suite, but it was very cold in the TV room, kitchen and other 2 bedrooms. did love the house itself,,, just not the cold.
