Not great, be prepared.
We were disappointed with our stay at this property. The house had a persistent musty smell throughout, and some of the furniture shown in the listing photos was different from what was actually in the home. The beds were uncomfortable and rickety. Several of the renovations appear to have been done hastily, with visible gaps in the walls and exposed, unfinished areas of the ceiling. While the house looked generally clean, there were a few things that raised concerns—spiderwebs and spiders on the ceiling and a large bug that showed up in the sink by nighttime. It made us question how well the house was sealed and what else might be getting in.Privacy was also an issue. Both the main bedroom and the bathroom have barn doors that don’t close fully, leaving several inches of open space that let in both light and sound. One of the other bedrooms has a window with no blinds or coverings, which not only made it hard to sleep past sunrise but also raised safety and comfort concerns—especially since the house is located on a busy road and we didn’t feel comfortable with people potentially being able to see inside. Ultimately, we realized we wouldn’t be able to relax and enjoy the rest of our trip in this house. After just one night, we checked into a hotel for the remaining two nights of our stay. The location and layout had potential, but the lack of comfort, cleanliness, and attention to detail made this property fall far short of expectations.
