The Tipsea Turtle: Pool, & Hot Tub

Bring out the traveler and explorer in you and come to The Tipsea Turtle in The Currituck Club. This Outer Banks vacation home offers comfort and amenities to please even the pickiest travelers.

The Tipsea Turtle has five bedrooms, three full baths and one half bath. The reverse floor plan means the great room and kitchen are on the top (second) floor as is the king master bedroom.

Need to just relax inside? There are multiple TVs, Blu-Ray, DVD player, stereo and board games. Internet access is provided at no extra charge.

Nearby you will find two full service grocery stores; both are open year 'round. Harris-Teeter and Food Lion are both within a five to ten minute drive from the house. Consider visiting the Whalehead Club and the Currituck Lighthouse, just north of The Currituck Club. During the summer months free concerts are held on the lawn of The Whalehead Club on weeknights. For more adventure, take a tour of the Carova area...off road...where you may see some of our beautiful wild horses of Corolla.

No pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. Fireplace not available for guest use. Please refer to the Rental Agreement while reviewing Rules & Policies for pool opening/closing dates.

Perfect Vacation!

This was our first time to North Carolina. The house was perfect! It was beautiful and had tons of room.

We loved the amenities and the pool! The best was the Pine Island Beach Club! The house is perfect with the exception of two things: the mattresses are hard as a rock and the barstools are very uncomfortable. Otherwise we’d love to come back again next year!

Great time!

This was exactly what we were hoping for! We had a great time being a family together enjoying all the neighborhood had to offer--the tennis courts, basketball courts, gym, walked to the beach and loved walking the neighborhood. The house is older, but has some updated furniture that felt clean. Their are definitely things that need updating, but could not ask for more with this pricepoint. Would return! And the rental company was great and very responsive & communicative. Thank you!

We did have some issues with the refrigerator when we arrived but maintenance fixed it. The washing machine doesn’t drain fully or spin the clothes out.

This home is perfect for a small extended family (in our case, family of 4 along with Grandma & Uncle). Home was very clean, though the outdoor furniture was basically unusable & needs to be replaced or at the very least thoroughly power washed. Nice layout & very spacious living area. We also love having access to the beach club (seems to be a little known gem!). However, I will not rent this house again unless the owner replaces the mattresses! They are AWFUL, even for a rental home. I'm in my 30s & woke up stiff & sore every morning. A real shame as otherwise this house is just about perfect for us.
